I am curious as to when and how you all prefer to enjoy Star Trek?
I personally am more of an evening and night watcher as it makes me feel like I'm lost into space.
How about you?

Late at night, I guess. When I visit my parents, we watch the older Treks (TNG, TOS, DS9) together.

Mostly late at night if I need something relatively calm and familiar to fall asleep to.
Or in the evening/afternoon when I have it run in the background while working.

They come on BBC America almost every day and I watch whatever episode is on at either breakfast or lunch. I’ve seen all the eps so many times that I don’t bother to play my BluRay discs any more. Since I really liked Discovery and Picard, I’m more likely to,watch them now, in fact, we’re 5 eps into Disco season 2 in anticipation of Season 3 this Thursday.

After dark. If I have the day off, I'll watch during the daytime sometimes but the back of my mind will be going, "Shouldn't I be doing something else?"

Queuing up a Netflix TNG or TOS episode gives me just long enough to prepare some dinner & eat after work, in the late afternoon, & have it on in the background. I basically use it as the soundtrack to my after work routine. I'll sometimes use Monk for the same function.

Not sure that I have a preferred time. I'm watching most of it for the first time so I typically watch it at night after putting a toddler to bed. That way I don't have to hit pause 5 times an episode and I can pay attention. haha. Or if I need a respite, I might volunteer to fold all of the laundry in a quiet bedroom and watch a few episodes.

Actually, now that I think about it. My favorite time to ever watch Star Trek... was 1991

^Goddamnit - beat me to the punch (I was going to say 1997-99).

I like to put some Trek on in the background occasionally when I'm working from home in the afternoon. I don't need to focus too much on it - seen it all many a time over.

It's more in spurts, really. I'll go months without watching any Trek. I would say I've re-watched more of TOS in the past 2-3 years than I have in the last 25. If any series is overdue for a re-watch, it'd be Voyager.

I love watching the new Star Treks after dinner, after the kids are asleep, in a completely darkened home theater room with the sound cranked with my wife. I try to make it as cinematic as possible.

I watch TOS and TNG with my two young sons, nice and comfy-cozy either in my bedroom or our living room, after work but before dinner. That's usually my favorite part of the week.

Whenever I can, TNG was my Star Trek, and I tend to cater more to Picard's actions in episodes. The other cast members are fine but when the Captain comes into a scene he gets my total attention. I am amazed at how much he carried that series and how the series drew some many new Star Trek enthusiast. It seemed to me in TNG my lead could find a way to avoid getting out of a knuckle fight, lots of big words with a brash tone most of the time. When he had to like "Starship Mine" aka Die-Hard on spaceship it was a delight to see.

I used to watch a couple of episodes many nights before bed as a kid, usually a school night. It was like my own mini appointment lol.
About 8.00pm and two episodes I think took me to 9.20pm or so and then I'd go to sleep.
Now I just watch Trek when I feel like it I guess but Trek is definitely comforting for those nights when I feel a bit under the weather and need something to calm me and have on to fall to sleep too. 90's Trek is comforting for sure, perhaps it also brings on nostalgia as that's what obviously brings me to to childhood but whatever it is, I feel very glad to have it.
