Who's your favourite first officer from the five series? I like Kira best (Though I wouldn't want her as my first officer if I was the captain)

It's a close call among Riker, Kira, and Spock. But I'd have to give it to Kira. Behind those 3, Chakotay, and (from what little I've seen), I'd have to put T'Pol in a distant last place.

T'Pol, Enterprise is only my fourth favorite series but she's my 3rd favorite character, go figure...in fact Seven is my favorite character and Voyager is only my 3rd favorite TV show.

Kira was the station bouncer and Sisko's bodyguard. I would agree with you Dax was more a First Officer then Kira was. Sisko always kept her at arms length. He never really trusted her or was friends with her. He only put up with her because she was assigned to him. He always knew her loyalty to him was because he was The Emissary. Not because he was her commanding officer. Which was something he disliked. But she had uses to him as his little blunt instrament.
