Jeffrey Combs is one of the most versatile ST actors. Which role of him do you like best?

Definitely Shran. I gotta say, when I first watched DS9, I HATED Weyoun. I'm rewatching it now and haven't gotten to his first appearance yet so I'm not sure how I will feel about him this time around. I'd say overall I look back on Weyoun fondly now given how many different characters Combs has played, but I can't say for sure until I see those episodes again. I did always find him funny but everything he stood for really irked me!

As I don't watch ENT my decision was crystal clear. Weyoun. You will find that there are different Weyoun clones, but there is only one Shran (MU Shran doensn't count, if I'm not mistaken he can only be seen in the Lit-verse).

Why don't you watch Enterprise? Shran alone makes it worthwhile!

I know, Shran is a good reason to watch it. And I enjoyed the MU short story Age of the Empress. I don't like T'Pol, or more to the point, Jolene Blalock.
At the moment they ENT is shown on German TV, but the time (5 in the afternoon) is not to my liking.
I might give it a chance one day, though. I denied DS9 until I started to read the novels and then started to like it......

Weyoun, hands down. He is such a multifaceted character in terms of being threatening, charming, worshipful. The role demanded much of Combs' acting ability, and he did an excellent job.

Shran and Weyoun definitely. Can't pick only one.

I was considering to create that poll as multiple choice, but refrained from doing so to make it a hard decision. ;)

I also like Mirror Brunt. Unfortunatey he didn't last long.....

Weyoun. I'm reading the Millennium trilogy at the moment and it's notable how much of Combs's performance impacts on the way the character is written; his ticks and mannerisms leap off the page. There's so much there for the writers to get a handle on.

No love for Brunt, FCA?

Not the FCA Brunt. I liked the MU Brunt. But regarding the MU the Goodies had to die, as it were. ;)

For me it's an easy first place for Weyoun and easy second place for Shran.

Combs did a good job as Brunt but he always came off as a Ferengi Dick Dastardly to me.

I tend to prefer Weyoun over Shran. Shran seems angry all the time, even when trying to be nice. Weyoun was the more interesting character for me, because he seemed to have a tiny bit of Herbert West in him.

If it was multiple choice, I think they would be tied. In the end, I had to pick Weyoun, because the character(s) was(were) intriguing, and more integral to the show. Shran started great, but toward the end became Archer's butt-monkey.
