Your Fall TV Viewing Schedule

For those of us in the U.S., fall kicks off the new season of new and returning TV shows. I look forward to quite a number of them.

I'm most looking forward to the return of Sleepy Hallow and The Blacklist. I hope Agents of Shield can continue its momentum from the last half of the season. I'm going to try and watch The Flash. I don't watch Arrow, so I hope that doesn't matter. I'm also going to watch Constantine and give Once Upon a Time a try, solely because of Elsa and Anna.

The Big Bang Theory, looking forward to Penny with short hair

The Walking Dead, want to see Rick rip someone else's throat out, that was awesome

Finishing up the last few episodes of Manhattan on WGN

Also looking forward to the last season of Mad Men, Better Call Saul, and Halt and Catch Fire's improbable and miraculous second season.

Pretty much all the shows I'm excited about are Spring shows. I'll watch the CBS reality shows and I'll probably keep tabs on South Park, Key & Peele, Brooklyn Nine Nine and the Simpsons, and listen for word of mouth in case any of the new shows are any good. But so far nothing exciting. Mostly procedural spinoffs.

Better Call Saul, Game of Thrones, Silicon Valley, Orange is the New Black, True Detective, Fargo, Community, all the shows I really care about don't start till at least February. If there are any exciting fall shows they'll be new shows I probably haven't heard of yet.

I'm not interested in any of the shows in the OP.

My viewing is mostly the CBS reality shows (Survivor starts next week), The Quest (a reality show on ABC), my soap, and I'm looking forward to the new seasons of Downton Abbey and The 100.

Plan on checking out "Madam Secretary" and "NCIS: New Orleans" because I like Tea Leoni and Scott Bacula so I'm curious to see how they do in those shows, then see if I decide to pick them up.

There are a few returning shows I'll watch but as for new shows, I'm not that excited about any of them this season. I've been re watching more and more older series on Netflix and other places.

Is there a reason all the boutique networks like to run their best series in the spring rather than the fall? Is it because they figure they'll have less competition from networks?

Really the only show that I'm looking forward to seeing is Canada's Worst Driver Season 10. Otherwise Gotham is the only worthwhile-looking series that I might watch.

Otherwise over the summer I had downloaded from iTunes (as they are not on DVD here in Canada) Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends, Spider-Man (1994) and Spider-Man Unlimited and watch those, and dig into my DVD/Blu-Ray collection and watch some older series like Fringe, Dragnet (1951 & 1967 series), Jetsons, Flintstones, Flash Gordon (1953).
