I like some of the series (TOS, TNG, DS9) and all of the films (some way more than others). As for support, I have attended one convention, and it was fun. I've written a little bit of Trek fanfiction, and I keep up on all the details of the latest goings-on inside Star Trek.

I like some of the series and some of the films.

Love TOS

Like DS9, ENT, TWOK, TVH, TUC, FC, STID, 09 and parts of TNG

TOLERATE: The other parts of TNG, TMP, TSFS and GEN

Dislike VOY, NEM, TFF and INS

I like some of the series (all except Enterprise even though the others also certainly had misses) and some of the films (with Nemesis, Insurrection and ID definitely being the weakest).

I love all of Trek, even the parts that I don't particularly like.

I'll take my least favorite episode from my least favorite Trek show over most of the garbage that pours out of my cable box ("reality" shows, political ranting disguised as news, idiotic sitcoms...)

I like all the series, and most of the films.

I still occasionally binge watch star trek from time to time....maybe once a year to every 18 months, now.

I don't go to conventions or dress up. I don't LARP or RPG. I don't read Star Trek novels. I don't have a lot of friends who are into Star Trek, so I mostly enjoy it on my own, when I do watch star trek. I don't have a Star Trek collection, beyond my DVD collection, and 10 Diamond Select/Art Asylum ships that really are still boxed and sit in a closet, where I occasionally take them out and display one or two for a bit in my home "office," and put them back. Pretty much the extent of my Trek geekdom is that, and of course, posting here.

I like all of the series and some of the films. To my complete and total surprise Voyager has moved to the top of my last after the last re-watch. Still haven't figured out why myself so don't ask. I will have to go off by myself and think about it for a while but I like all of the other series a lot.

Not a fan of all of the films. I thought the original 2009 reboot was ok.

Don't go to conventions or anything like that although I do buy some of the books.

I went to conventions until the early 2000s. I used to collect a lot of the novels, but that dwindled during the '90s and stopped soon after. I wrote some fanfic around the same time.

I still collect the occasional TOS or TMP related bit of merchandise. My one constant since the '70s has been Treck tech and hardware. Whereas I used to draw lots of ship back in the day I eventually graduated to doing the same thing but in 3D modeling.

Of course, there remains the ongoing discussion here and on other sites. Certain fanfilm productions have helped keep the interest alive and in the interim I remain remotely hopeful that someday a new series or rebooted film project will intrigue me sufficiently again.

Some and some. I grew up watching TOS and TNG and I still remember when DS9 first aired and quickly became one of my favorite shows ever. It's not quite that high up for me anymore, but it is still my favorite ST, and even though I enjoyed certain parts of TOS, TNG, VOY and ENT, the only show worth owning for me is DS9, and the only movies worth owning for me are 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8 (although I do have Into Darkness as well, since someone gave it to me).

As for other support, I have been to several cons when I was a kid, including costumes, and I used to have a fairly large merchandise collection, but I've mostly moved on from that. The only things I kept were some signed trading cards of Sulu, a Klingon christmas ornament and a cool little model of a Romulan BoP. I also stopped reading the books at one point, mainly because I have so many other books still to read and I don't even see ST books around very often anymore (I now live in a country where ST is far less popular to begin with - you can't even find the DVDs in a store, only online).

I like most of the series (all except VOY, don't know about TAS since I haven't seen it) and most of the films.

I haven't gone to any cons or bought merchandise apart from some of the DVDs.

That said, I also enjoy a lot of the fan productions I've seen. Certainly I'd much rather watch, say, STC than VOY...

I would "support" the franchise in terms of buying merchandise if it were more upscale than what it's fond of putting out. I guess reproductions of some of the classier props used in the series/movies is what I'm talking about, but nothing like toy phasers/tricorders, etc.. For example, Picard's tea set, or his Lion-fish tank.

Reproductions of sculptures, or even paintings used for decoration in alien environments might be intriguing. Or even Spock's Certificate of Total Logic, from TMP, that was a very interesting looking prop that might work as a mobile, or something like that.

As it is, there's nothing but overpriced ENTERPRISE pizza cutters, Shirtless Kirk cologne that can take the wax off your floors, and incense holders with "STAR TREK" slapped on it. Kitsch is alright, you know? I mean ... even I'll buy a Christmas calendar with cheesey renderings, or whatever. But STAR TREK merchandise is really hard to buy into for me, the way they do it.

I don't like every single part of Trek. Certain series and movies just aren't up to par with the rest. Certain episodes within series, and even certain specific elements, are the same way.

I like TNG, but "Sub Rosa" was a crime against humanity.

DS9 is one of my favorite series, but Sisko being turned into "Space Jesus" is not my idea of a good resolution to the series.

I didn't care as much for ENT, but I like that Archer is the most human captain.

But, in general, this is how they stack up for me:

Series:
Best: TOS, TNG, DS9
Middle: TAS, VOY
Worst: ENT

Movies:
Best: TMP, TWOK, TUC
Middle: TSFS, TVH, TFF, FC, NEM
Worst: GEN, INS, ST09, STID

All the series and pretty much all of the films have at least something about them that I like or interests me. But there's quite a lot of it and frankly Star Trek isn't the only thing I ever watch or spend money on, so I do tend to stick to my favorites. So I haven't shelled out hundreds of dollars for TNG or Voyager on DVD, but if a decent to good episode of either series turned up on TV I'd watch it for, if nothing else, Robert Picardo or Patrick Stewart.

But when I went off to college, I brought a DVD case filled with the complete runs of DS9 and TOS, so I do have pretty clear loyalties I suppose.

I was tempted to go 'some of series, some of films', but then decided that even though TNG is my least favourite and watched series, if there was absolutely nothing else on I'd probably watch it.

I vote "some and some". While I've seen all the movies, and do enjoy all of them to varying extents, there are some I enjoy more than others. There's a whole lot of TV Trek that I just haven't seen, including most of TNG and almost the entirety of DS9.

I didn't see an option that would let me vote "I like all the series and all the films but not equally" so I couldn't vote.

As odd as it may seem to people who know my posting in other threads, I even like JJ Trek. It's at the absolute bottom of my list. It's dumbed down, sexed up, shallow noise with a crappy visual aesthetic, but it's better than no Trek at all. I just won't go out of my way to support it and keep hoping for sanity to return to those controlling the franchise. In the meantime, I have Continues, Phase II, and of course Axanar.

That's being awfully puiky. And nowhere in my OP did I exclude JJtrek. I simply said series and films and one is free to comment and elaborate on their choices, which you did.

TV: TOS is my favorite but I like all the series except for ENT, which I can't get into to save my life.

Film: I like the TOS movies (I wouldn't even be here if not for them). I could take or leave the TNG movies.

I like Star Trek (2009) but I was laughing all through the second half of Star Trek Into Darkness (sorry, I'm not going to lie about what I thought). The two films cancel each other out, so the Reboot is a wash for me at this point. The third film will be what tips it one way or the other.

TAS is a very good '70s cartoon. Read into that what you will.

Nothing produced in the franchise approaches the quality of something classic like Hamlet, nor does any of it get anywhere near anything as reviled as say, Dude Where's My Car.

"Threshold."

I like some of the episodes of some of the TV shows and some of the movies.
