I feel like a Die Hard remake is the perfect opportunity for a gender swap. Or at least as far as the McClanes.

Die Hard in the Statue of Liberty. Final scene is McClain jumping out of the head as it explodes with nothing but a rope to hold onto. As he dangles outside of the statue with a fire above he has to get enough momentum to jump from his rope into a police helicopter close to him that has come to rescue him and is being piloted by his wife. He does it and just as they are about to fly off Gruber pops out of the smoke and fire from where the head was with a bakoka and shoots it at the helicopter at which point McClain uses his gun to shoot the missile making it explode in mid air which makes Gruber loose balance and he falls out of the Statue of Liberty and the final shot is him yelling NOOOOO!!!!!!!

We all know this is a Scott Eastwood or Liam Hemsworth vessel.
