I am guessing it is coming on in a few minutes.

7pm ET.

I don't have Cartoon Network...but would love to hear what people thought of it. :)

Looks bloody awesome! At least less silly than Teen Titans. Why did not I hear about this before? Thanks, Jetfire!

Man full night tonight with the new Transformer's,GI Joe,Young Justice and the 2 part "Gamma World" episode of Avengers!:techman:

I also did not like the designs, and the voices were weird, that's always a week spot sometimes

See, to me it seems of the same quality as the DC Animated Direct to DVD movies, which is fine by me. I could have used a little bit more detail on Aqualad's powers and as a DC geek, I'd love to know who's under the masks (Robin seems more Tim Drake than any other Robin and Kid Flash seems like Wally).

I think it's going to be a good series. The Light is interesting, though the lead one sounded like Batman.

I thought the pilot was pretty good. Definitely looking forward to seeing more. Loved all the cameos. I think it's cool that's basically a version of Geoff Johns' 2004 Teen Titans series, I liked that lineup.

Which Robin was that supposed to be? He was way too obnoxious to be Tim Drake.

So apparently this new Aqualad is supposed to be the same one just introduced in the Brightest Day comic. I smell corporate synergy!

The hacker part is true to Tim's character, but his personality is more like Dick's.

I'd be fine if they drop his laugh. I didn't like it when I saw the 6 minute preview a week ago and I didn't like it anymore when he disappeared on Aqualad upon entering Cadmus.

Bruce Greenwood is returning as the voice of Batman. He previously voiced Batman in "Under the red hood"

The earth has been confirmed as "Earth 16"

Wally is Kid Flash

Dick is Robin

It will be revealed that Batman is the General that gives the kids covert ops missions

We'll be seeing Dick Grayson Robin who is 13. He has the most experience but won't be the leader. Leadership goes to Aqualad. Geoff Johns gave permission for Aqualad's father to be revealed. It's Black Manta, if you hadn't already guessed. We'll also see Kid Flash (Wally West, age 15), Superboy (age 16 weeks), Miss Martian (16 Martian years) and Artemis (age 15).

I've been looking forward to this since the first previews at comic con. Wonder Girl is supposed to join the team later in the season as well. It's been explained that Dick and Wally are used instead of Bart and Tim because this is a much younger universe. I think they said that Superman has been operating for about ten years and Batman nine. Aqualad will be the leader to start but that doesn't mean he will be the leader during the entire series.

I saw the series premiere tonight and thought it was pretty good. I liked the animation quality and some familiar voices like Rene Auberjonois and the guy who originally did the Cyborg voice on Teen Titans. The opening plot about Cadmus, introducing Superboy as Superman's clone (instead of Supe's and Luthor's or just a regular sidekick/member of the Supe family) was interesting. If the team is based on the older characters, then it makes sense that Speedy/Roy Harper, not Arrowette, is Green Arrow's sidekick. I don't know why a girl named Artemis, not Donna Troy, is going to be Wonder Girl.

Overall, I gave it an A.

The Arrowette/Artemis controversy has been explained by Wiseman and company and I already stated that Wonder Girl will appear later in the season. Yes the new Aqualad is the same one that was just introduced in Brightest Day and it isn't coincidence but something of a mandate. Geoff Johns has really been pushing this new Aqualad. Also the voice of Robin/Dick Grayson is singer/actor Jesse McCarthnay which might be the reason he sounds obnoxious to some.

The Young Justice Comic Book was cancelled for brand solidity when Teen Titans started on Cartoon network back in 2002ish. Doesn't this mean that for brand solidity that the Teen Titans comic book(s) right now should be cancelled in favour if new Young Justice Comic books?

Well that was about as dark as teen titans was fluffy, which just exacerbate my earlier botheration.

Hey Odo, I definitely heard your pal Rene in there. :)

According to the TV listings it will not be repeating in the next two weeks. But when the series starts in January I'm sure they'll air it then.

Not bad. I really enjoyed the animation. I thought the character designs were good. Story didn't quite hold together for me, and I didn't care for some of the voice actors (Superman and Batman). It was cool and odd at the same time to hear Odo.

Also didn't care for them having Supes make an excuse and fly off instead of setting things right with his clone. But overall, a decent start to the series and I'm looking forward to the premiere in January.

About Aqualad, its strange that they look nothing alike even though they are supposed to be the same character. The comic Aqualad looks like an normal African American kid, with dreadlocks, not blond hair and no gills. If anything, YJ Aqualad looks more like Spyke from X-Men: Evolution. He also seems to know nothing about Atlantis and doesn't consider Aquaman his king. Outside of skin tone, they seem like two different characters to me. I at least hope they keep Black Manta as his father so we can see him on the show.
