Young Justice-Tonight!

I have to say, that while I've been enjoying this series quite a bit... It tends to lose any story momentum with months between episodes.

On the flip side, Mavel's Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes series already finished it's first (and awesome) season and should be poised to start season 2 anytime now.

YJ still hasn't finished it's season? I had assumed the last episode of the last batch was the season finale. (And I am anxiously awaiting the second season of EMH.)

Hmmm, at this point I kind of wish they would just hold them off to show as part of season 2. We've already gotten to gaps, I'd rather not have to get another one after just 8 more episodes.

I'd agree unreservedly if I didn't think the last 8 episodes would give us some closure on a few of the various season story arcs.

Just hope they've garnered some information from the situation and have Season 2 "in the can" or close to it before the premiere,

Definitely. From what people have said on here, I take it the jumps are purely CN's doing, and don't really have anything to do with the production of the show?

Dang, I'm going to be out of town on March 3rd. I really, really hope my DVR doesn't act up that day.

And 10 AM for Green Lantern and Young Justice? That doesn't seem right. I mean, I'm all for resurrecting the concept of Saturday morning cartoons, but both those shows are mature enough that they're better fits for prime time.

Yeah, I was kinda surprised by that too, but I'm wondering if perhaps it's more of a nostalgia thing, rather than going for an earlier timeslot to get a younger audience.

Looks like we're getting a YJ video game next year:

Little Orbit, a worldwide game publisher, announced today that it has entered into a licensing agreement with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for the Young Justice: Legacy video game set to ship in early 2013 for PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, Nintendo's Wii(TM) system, and the Nintendo DS(TM) hand held system.
...

In Young Justice: Legacy fans can look forward to an original storyline set in between Seasons 1 and 2 of the television series, written in collaboration with show writers Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti. The game is packed with fan favorite playable characters, cameo appearances by popular Justice League heroes and villains, and includes online multiplayer as well as local multiplayer modes.

SuperHeroHype

I will definitely pick this up if it gets good reviews. :techman:

Batman with Batgirl

Boxart has new costume for Aqualad and short hair for Miss Martian.

And please! No more long hiatuses! The show can't survive a third one.

People have practically moved on.

Oh, this show is still on? :sigh: Nah, I'm really looking forward to new episodes finally.

And ooh, a Batgirl in YJ: Invasion? Wonder if it'll be Barbara since we've met her?

And if my theory that
Miss Martian is a White Martian [mole or not, but I'm going with not for now]
, then perhaps
the short haircut from that toy box means that her peaches and cream personality was at least partly an act
?

I had somehow forgotten about the show being rescheduled to Saturday morning so was a little bummed/alarmed when it didn't show up on my schedule for the evening. :alienblush: Looking forward to it being back!

If it is on Sat morning I will have to wait till Sat night or Sun when it is online. ;) :sigh:

Apparently CN wants to revive the old tradition of Saturday morning cartoons. Though it seems odd to anchor it with older-skewing shows like YJ and Green Lantern: TAS.

I thought it was a pretty cool episode. An ingenious use of Captain Marvel/Billy, and some significant advances in the arc, including Zatanna becoming a full team member. I did find it a bit odd before that they used Zatara as a major member of the Justice League, but now it makes sense -- they were setting him up for this all along.

It was a bit awkward, though, that the whole thing was a distraction for a theft. Even the Brain remarked that it was way over the top. It did feel a bit too much like an excuse to have the fate of the world depend on the junior hero team -- again.
