You and a character have dinner and you talk about what?

Arpy

The multiverse has gone mad and spacetime is fractured for one night. In Quantum Leap fashion, for it to fix itself you find yourself having to have a nice evening of dinner and conversation with a character. Who, where, and what are some of the things you discuss?

I see Picard and me in now his brother's dining room from TNG's "Family". I want to know the specifics of what if feels like part of the hive mind. Did his individuality lose itself in waves as he got more and more assimilated? How many Borg could he hear - just his ship or the whole Collective and was it through the focus of the queen? If the Collective is no more than the will of all the drones, does that mean then that if we could mentally unite, that existence once felt is too pleasing to pull away from? What do the Borg feel, fear, hope? How did the Borg begin - did they want this?

Similarly, I'd want to know from Riker what it felt like to be a Q in TNG's "Hide and Q". I figure there's no point in asking Q himself as he'd just goof off till dinner was over and if I verbally cornered him, being omnipotent, he'd just break the rules.

Dinner Conversations:

Vic Fontaine:

"...Look, I think I can hook you up with a mobile emitter from a Holographic crew member that just got back from a region of space called the Delta Quadrant."

Sisko:

"I know your just a Worm Hole Alien now... but is there a way you can put a good word for me with Ezri?"

Ezri:

"So hey. How about we get some target practicing in with some TR-116 rifles before the next Borg invasion hits again?"

Morn:

"So, did you actually feel those bar darts when Quark threw them into that one time?"

Jake:

"So just exactly how many olfactory references have you used within your stories?"

Seven of Nine:

"I know the Doctor is your mentor and all, but do you really have to keep taking his perverted fashion advice? I mean, what's wrong with a Starfleet uniform every now and then?"

I think I'd want to get some life advice from the wiser characters, such as Spock, or Jadzia. I could use a little of that.

I think I'd have dinner with Q. I'd ask lots of serious questions and expect to get no serious answers, but lots of food for thought. He's also easy on the eyes in human form, and funny. :p Any nice restaurant will do as long as it's not Klingon. I don't "do" Gagh.

What was it like being pregnant? ... Do you ever see the kid?

Seven of Nine
Are those implants?

Riker
I have pictures of you in the boy toy outfit. 100,000 credits and you can have all of the copies.

Janeway
You and the Borg Queen. That was an intense conflict. Is there some history there that we don't know about?

Archer
Has Porthos peed on any trees lately?

Archer
I'm in a bad mood. Mind if I beat the Hell out of you?

Probably Spock if I'm going for something profound, but if I just want pleasant conversation and some interesting stories, I'd have to say Dr. Phlox. He just seems like the kind of guy you wouldn't mind sitting next to on a plane for a few hours. As long as he doesn't start shaving his tongue.

How high does Archer rank in the Hall of Fame of TV characters who get beaten up regularly?

He's got some competition from Reed on his own show, who got manhandled quite a bit. I think that Ben from Lost might be above him, but I'd guess that the all time champ is Jim Rockford. That guy got beat up in every episode, sometimes more than once.

It would have been great if they'd have had James Garner in a cameo role as an admiral giving Archer advice on how to take a punch.

:guffaw::guffaw::guffaw::guffaw:

Archer's my favorite character from ENT, but even I had to laugh at that.

nuKirk
On the bridge of the nuEnterprise....
"So, what's it like to have a command you don't deserve?"

Q. I'd have lots of questions to ask about the universe, the Q, the origin of the Borg and some other things and he would make for some very funny and entertaining company (that's assuming he doesn't get bored). He probably wouldn't be interested in a serious conversation, but I could always try. The place wouldn't be crowded, a small restaurant would be great. Picard would also be a good choice, partly because of his experiences with the Borg, though I'm not sure he'd be willing to talk about that.

Picard--I could imagine he and I having a lot of profound discussions about Philosophy, Morality, the existence of God, the meaning of life...perhaps even politics.

Garak--just pure entertainment, as we play off each other's skills in The Art Of The Game.

Ezri--for obvious reasons, but also I could easily see some fascinating discussions about Psycology, etc.
