I really love where this is going!!!!! Great work!!!!!! I am truly looking forward to the finished product!!!!! That is one fantastic ship!!!!!!
I have a question for anyone who can answer. Where can I find someone who can build a quality physical model based off a cg one (assuming I save up some money)? I really would love to get a physical model off this once I'm finished.
I assume you can have it 3D printed which is the cheapest option, a scratch build model made by a pro would be incredibly expensive...
I'm a fan of every change you've made. Looking forward to watching your "slow" progress. ("Slow", says the guy who's been tinkering with the same model for 11 years now. )
Well, I have decided it is time to put this version to rest and start version 11. There won't be many changes at all, mostly just a new modeling workflow. Here is a full render to end version 10:
I love this ship. Are you going to do orthos of it? I would love to see more. This has great potential!!!!
This makes me cry. If only the Enterprise from the last 3 movies looked like this. What shoulda been...
Beautiful work; simply beautiful. I love the original Enterprise, but she is a bit dated after half a century. I admire what you have done with her lines. I am conducting a thought experiment wherein I am attempting to reimagine Star Trek as if Gene were pitching the series today, with today's tech as the baseline on which to build. I want to keep the iconic look as much as possible in the macro, but update to a more modern aesthetic. Your take on the Big E fits right in with where I am going. Again, wonderful work!
