Year One - my attempt at writing again...

Hello... I've read through this forum a few times, first time posting. Mainly as I don't think my opinions help much so make no comment.

Anyway - I'd been writing something as a small relaxing hobby and it ended up going the ways of Trek fan fiction after a few rewrites and a few mates pushed me to put it online as they like my lack of taking anything seriously when I write.

It's the first time I've written anything fictional for a long while, so not entirely comfortable with it being open to scrutiny but figure if I've spent so much time writing 500+ pages I may as well put it online for someone to read, even if it's only three people, so I don't feel like I've wasted the past year.

Anyway, enough babbling... the story info and Part One list is here:

...and as I can't write anything without figuring out a crap load of details first theres extra info using the menu to the right including character stuff, background and some drawings that show absolutely no artistic ability.

I hope it amuses someone, though negative comments are as welcome as positive - though I take writing this as seriously as I take myself. Which isn't a lot, so don't expect a masterpiece

I don't know if anyone had a peek, if so have another I've been adding more at my girlfriends suggestion. Apparently the more she reads, the more she's reminded of nuBSG. She's ahead of whats posted... I'm not sure if thats praise or not :|

I've had a peak and the concept sounds intriguing. I see that you've even provided some sketches. I don't have much time to read at the moment but I'll definetely read it so don't lose faith.

The sketches and information are a clear sign that I either spent way too much time on this, or have way too much time on my hands

Cheers I've put more up this weekend... and my GF decided to read forward a little and has been telling me it's very BSG. So I've had to start watching BSG to find out if she'd right.

After getting lazy I've been adding more to this...
...my girlfriend has been watching me go into minor meltdowns as she introduces me to nuBSG and we both recognise elements already posted, written or planned (though nuBSG is far, far superior to my attempt) and I've been re-writing in my style-less style the past two weeks to tweak and remove.

I opted to push forward a piece that ties Year One with the Trekverse which may be a love or hate moment. Anyway, for anyone reading or following the updates on twitter (and if you are, I commend you for putting up with it ) here's the latest.
