XI Doctor theme in the Olympics

Farms? Sorry, I'm not in the UK and don't read up on UK news everyday. What farms?
"London's Olympic Stadium will be transformed into a rural British idyll for the Games opening ceremony on July 27, organisers said on Tuesday."

I guess what the Olympics needed was to be more like Farmville. :)

The only word in that Sun Daily article that I disagree with is "rural". To me, rural implies a place where only simple farming tools are used and there is a decided lack of technology and basic facilities such as a constant supply of water and electricity, the lack of even a telephone or internet connectivity. Oh no, farms in UK have machinery, highly-trained workers, systems and processes in place that can make some of the Fortune-500 companies blush in embarrassment.

I have lived for nearly 4 years in Greater Manchester and Edinburgh, been to London at least a dozen times and have been up and down the M6 so many times I've lost count. And while I consider the UK to be a farming-centric country with a lovely countryside, the UK is anything but rural.
