X-MEN: FIRST CLASS (Casting, Rumors, Pics till release)

My outline for X4 would include the following

- Xavier's Institute For Higher Learning beginning a recruiting drive. We'd have a New Mutants type of scenario.

-Logan and Storm are in a relationship with one another and areco-Headmasters (kind of like Scott and Emma in the comics).

- Storm is recast. Halle Berry is gone. Haven't thought about whom

-Mr. Sinister is the main villain. He's still an geneticist but he's also the head of a cult called the Order of Apocalypse and keeps going on and on about an immortal Egyptian Pharaoh called En Saba Nur

-Moria McTaggart is invited to join the Institute and this is when she reveals to the others that Charles is alive but this doesn't factor into the main story

-The main X-Men team consists of the following members: Wolverine, Storm, Beast (Hank's decided to rejoin the team), Colossus, Iceman, Rogue, and Kitty Pryde are made new members. We're introduced to Cannonball, Wolfsbane, Siryn (yes I know Siryn was shown in X2 w etc), and Jubliation Lee.


-Sinister reveals at the end of the movie that he has stolen DNA samples of both Scott Summers and Jean Grey and it's implied that he's going to use it to create their genetic offspring (So I guess I have come up with a way for Cable).
 
I'd also reveal that Sinister stole the samples from Stryker when all of the General's files were confiscated. Essex was able to procure them for himself. I'd not use Stryfe. Just Nathan Summers (and I have an idea how to use Cable now that I've thought about it but he'd be used in X5). Yes I'd use X4 to set up Apocalypse.
 
^ Those are influences in my story yes. I'm still thinking about X5 right now so I'll reveal that when I think of it. LOL. Yeah, I'm bored too right now :)
 
Couldn't think of one for him. I thought about using Emma Frost somehow as well. I'd ignore certain things from both "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" and "X-Men: The Last Stand".
 
Emma will have to certainly be alot older at this point. I'd suggest Helen Mirren, but Vaughn made Frost American for this one.
 
Actually we don't know her heritage really. Emma in the comics speaks with an English accent, her origin has been retconned so many times already I'm not really sure what she is. I'd use the Emma from First Class (which is what i think Singer would have used had he made X3 with Signorney Weaver in the part).

As for Erik. I'm leaning towards doing with him what the current comics are doing with him, making him a member of the X-Men, but I'm really not sure if that mixes within the continuity of the film.

Ugh, hell no! Like we just need more Wolverine.

Cable could be explained very simply as the son of Scott and Jean from an alternate future. He's a time traveler, so he could've wound up in our timeline by accident. There you go, no further explanation required.

I'd be first in line for a Cable movie, though.
 
I'm really excited for this film. I don't think I've ever been this excited for an X-Men movie... Maybe it's because I'm extremely interested in Kennedy and the Cold War conflicts surrounding his administration, but just the same, these trailers are getting me pumped.

I wonder how big of a role Mystique will have. She's hot off of an Oscar Nomination, it makes me wonder if they're just bucking up her role to promote the movie or if she actually is going to have the biggest role in the movie next to Xavier and Magneto.
 
I loved the new trailer. I like the new poster too. This movie is going to kick ass. From those cuts in the trailer my guess is that Mystique has a pretty big role in the movie.

Yeah, that's what I'm wondering. I hope so. We know that she's a capable actress and I think it could be really interesting in potential future movies to see why she left with Magneto. That "fall from grace" could be interesting.
 
Whoa, great final seconds in that trailer!

So apparently Xavier started out with a mostly Scottish accent and Magneto with some vague Mid-Atlantic accent, yet forty years later they both had accents right out of the Royal Shakespeare Company? It's some sort of mutant power!
 
At first I think a lot of fans were like who the fuck is Jennifer Lawrence when she was first cast in the movie but then "Winter's Bone" hit and now she's a gem! LOL. I really can't wait to see this movie.
