X-MEN: FIRST CLASS (Casting, Rumors, Pics till release)

I predict in a couple weeks we'll get another one. I stand by my earlier comment that I want a Hellfire Club centric trailer! We needs the Bacon!!!

Yeah, I'm kinda shocked that we haven't really gotten anything with him or January Jones yet. There have been a couple quick glimpses, but nothing really noteworthy. I just realized Jones is in both this and Mad Men, and they both take place in the '60s.

Scott and Jean are probably not even born at the time of this movie since it takes place in 1962. From their ages in the first "X-Men" movie I would assume they're not born until sometime in the mid 70's. They both looked like they were in their late twenties/early thirties.
From 13 to 30.
Cable is still possable.

A story of him in the future, Sentinels & Apocalypse is possable.
Hell, even Bishop, Nimrod & Fitzroy becomes a possabilty.
In that time period, you can drop the whole mutant/human equality aspect because it failed and do all out mutant vs. mutant vs. Sentinel war. Go totally Days of Futures Past.

Clancy Brown as Cable! Re-use his bionic arm from Starship Troopers. And if he's too old, I dunno Keifer Sutherland or Bruce Willis? Stephen Lang?

Sinister I can see working if they introduce Cyclops and choose to work in the expanded backstory from the 80s.

Also I wonder if they'll have an explanation for Xavier going bald and his handicap. In the comics, it was explained as his psionic powers causing his hair to fall out, and the injury was caused by some d-grade villain. Alternate tellings have Magneto be the one that delivers the crushing blow. of course, in the comics Xavier's been cured and recrippled several times over it's hard to tell sometimes.

From what I heard, we're supposed to see him get crippled in this movie. Seeing how they're ignoring X3, I'm assuming they're going to alter him walking up to Jean's house all those years later.

Yes...Singer stated they're ignoring "X-Men: Last Stand" back last August. It has been discussed in this very thread countless times! Sigh.

I wouldn't have minded Stephen Lang. The thing about introducing Cable...the continuity in the films IS drastically different than in the comics. Any way that they come up with introducing Nathan would be extremely convoluted in my opinion. I'm sure there COULD be a way that makes sense for this universe but I can't think of it at the moment. I could see easily how they could incorporate Sinister. In fact as I have said in other threads about X4 he would be the villain I'd use.

Why couldn't he just be some dude from the future? Kind of like Kyle Reese from Terminator. We don't really need to go into great detail about his back story or who his real parents are, do we?

What would your outline be for an X4 - X6 if they were going to be made?
