X-MEN: FIRST CLASS (Casting, Rumors, Pics till release)

I thought the wording and some of the faraway facial design on the posters was a little iffy, too. As if it should all be bigger or something. Maybe these are just unfinished prelims again out there to test reaction before something more special like the first weird photo.

Timby, did the link not work? It was the only place I knew of that had the magazine spread. I found the other Prometheus article again, too. I don't know what happened to Alien Prequel thread though.

Where are the rest of the character posters anyway?

It seems like those are the first two characters posters after all because other sites are running with them. I assume the rest of the character posters will be revealed over time. Patience young Padawan :)

I hope not. At the very least, I hope they add commas to each of the taglines.
I like them.
they're subtle but they get the point across.
It's also a very "muture" image of comic book characters, with those images in the water. There's no uniforms on Charles or Eric, no display of powers or action poses.

I think it also brings home the point that X-Men is more about people than powers.

^ Nice way of putting it.

The way the reflections in the water are of the older Prof X & Magneto remind me of the Phantom Menace teaser poster, which had Anakin throwing Vader's shadow.

I also like the irony.
While many of the characters in the film are for the newer generation of X-Men readers, the posters come off as something geared toward an older audience. Too my generation & before.

Now I want to see one poster read

Before she was Mystique she was Raven, Jennifer, Carol, Mike, Heidi, Gunther, Bobbi, Bob....

"Before he was Wolverine he was in the musical Oklahoma! and nobody knew who he was..."

"Before he was Sebastian Shaw he indirectly started the popular catchphrase "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon"..."

"Before he was Beast he was naked in A Single Man with Colin Firth from The King's Speech..."

I hope not. At the very least, I hope they add commas to each of the taglines.

I don't mind what the taglines are trying to say. I just really wish there were commas.

I didn't even notice for it to be a issue, honestly.

I know what you mean about the grammar. It drives me insane the way we seem to butcher punctuation and spelling as we see fit. I think it would be nicer if the tag lines were split on the top and bottom, then you could also be bigger and written properly.

This is partly why I'm so excited for Fassbender in the new Jane Eyre. If people start drooling over his words in that one, we might start using whom again and stop ending sentences with prepositions! Eh, I can dream.

Before she was Diamond, She was January! :)
Before he was Magneto, He was Azazael, too, but that's a different show ;)
