He's talking about "furthering the discussion" on January Jones and how hot she is, not furthering the discussion on the movie. There's a whole tradition of threads in the Gen forum in that line and they're linked to when an actress appears in a movie or TV series.Pardon me, I guess i assumed he was since he brought up the "furthering the discussion," on June 3rd when the movie releases. Those discussions about the movie are usually, but not restricted to being in a review thread and for this movie in particular would most likely go in this section.
This has gotten off track.
Nicely done in bringing it full circle. Now all we need is a picture of January Jones' rack!![]()
Finally, someone in Hollywood seems to have gotten the hint that action scenes are exciting when the context is exciting.
Yes but I hope not completely.Does anyone think that Michael Fassbender is going to steal the show? The movie needs its Hugh Jackman, and I have a feeling Magneto will become this series' Wolverine.
I walked into X-Men 1 thinking Patrick Stewart would steal the show and was pleasantly surprised when Jackman did instead. Alan Cummings stole X2 IMO & Kelsey Grammer in X3. While I expect Fassbender to be good, I'm hoping another actor in it will surpise us all again and steal this one.
I kind of had that perception of the original X-Men; it showed that an action movie could be smart and engaging. The action scenes look very tense in the perfect way. It's not all about throwing as much sparkle onto the screen as possible; it's a situation that has a lot of weight to it. This is nuclear war they're trying to prevent. I've just seen footage for the Hasbro booth at ToyFair 2011.
They've shown off toys for Thor, Capt. America, Marvel Legends & Universe but no announcement on any toys for "First Class". They don't even mention the film or any plans for it.
Yes, I know.X-Men: First Class toys would have been shown at Toy Fair under whatever label they maybe under...the fact that they weren't implies to me that there aren't any. I think Hasbro had the liscense for The Last Stand. Same with "X-Men Origins: Wolverine"
