X-MEN: FIRST CLASS (Casting, Rumors, Pics till release)

^ Fair enough and I agree with you on that. One bad photo doesn't mean the entire production is going to be shite though. The majority of the posters here seemed to like the photo...if you don't like it that's fine but that doesn't mean everyone else doesn't.
The majority of posters on one board doesn't make it a success either and I specifically said boards, blogs & postings other than here. So the majority of posters here is a very small percentage in what I read else where. So I'm not going by the opinions from one source but rather several. I've also stated very clearly that I didn't care for the choices in characters & cast. You asked and I was very open & honest about all of that.

One bad photo also doesn't inspire confidence either.
However the same applies, if you like that's fine.
It doesn't mean everyone else does, as well.
Fair is fair.

As expected high quality pictures released

^ ^Indeed. Actually you said it was creating bad word of mouth...you never stated where from ;)
I did, when you asked why I believed it was half assed.;)

There are also several if not mostly negitive comments from several people in the interview with Kevin Bacon I posted. So not only did I say it, I provided at least 1 source.

Is Emma Frost wearing a skirt???

I'll admit, I was surprised when my old prediction of casting January Jones as Frost turned out to be right. I was even more surprised when my other prediction of Bane as Nolan's next Batman villain also came true.

I can only hope my prediction of Yvonne Strahovski as Mockingbird turns out to be a Hat Trick.

In hi-res, this picture looks a lot better. I can't imagine the studio actually intended the small version to be officially released. Still, it's not a great pic. I actually like the look of the actors and the old-school costumes, but the photoshop collage looks pretty awkward.

Anyway, I'm still very excited for the movie for all the reasons JacksonArcher listed.

Magneto looks like such a cocky ass...James McAvoy...I can't help but still think of him as Leto II. God Professor!!! He's appropriately serious.

I just look at Magento and expect him to say "Well, if this is it, old boy, I hope you don't mind if I go out speaking the King's"

Obviously its impossible to tell really if this will be brilliant or awful. But I think if it is awful, it will likely be because studios now want to just make release dates, not movies. I think that's a major factor why X3 was what it was

Charles: "What are you smirking about?"
Erik: "I was just thinking that you look awfully comfortable in that chair."

YES! Some real pictures of actors in real places looking so swanky! I like Fassbender, and I think he's going to be cool and seriously breakout as Magneto.

I love the retro looks. Frankly, I don't know what the rush to always make something contemporary is. The series started in the sixties, so then the movies should have also begun there. I really wanted Fantastic Four to take place in the sixties, and I was very disappointed they went for some modern pg humor with that one.

Old school is back, people. We've gone so forward with all our crap that there is nowhere else to go but be nostalgic. My husband is loving Mafia II and LA Noir right now. There's nothing wrong with a character based spy caper esque film. Amen.

I'm a happy camper Admiral! I have no idea if my post made any sense! :)

I love the Charles and Erik chess scene...totally a homage to their game in the plastic prison in X2. Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw looks great, the period clothing and hair styles look amazing. It's great to have Singer back on X-Men. January Jones is incredible looking as Emma.
