It's about time Rose Bryne found her way into a comic-book movie. I always thought she would be a good Lois Lane, but MacTaggert is great casting.
Wonder if she pull off a Scottish accent. And Platt as Black Bishop eh? Sweet!
A young Wolverine? They already established that Wolverine still looks like Hugh Jackman in this timeframe, so Wolverine will probably be front and center.
I like the Bryne casting as Moria...I really liked her in "Sunshine" and Platt seems like a weird casting choice but we'll see. The amount of casting done for this film indicates a wide scope planned which means this will almost undoubtedly be a trilogy now.
I don't like the idea of using Wolverine at all since "X-Men" established that was the first time he met Charles Xavier and the rest of the team. I think though that if he does appear at all if they do sequels that he'll be used like he was in Origins without actually interacting with the X-Men characters. This of course is all purely hypothetical and speculation on my part.
I've heard rumors that Chris Claremont originally wanted Mystique to be Kurt's FATHER (having shape-shifted to a male form) and Destiny to be his mother.
With all of the holes in Wolvie's memory, it gives them an opening for an appearance.
Not unless you postulate holes in everyone else's memory as well.
^ Yeah I agree with Christopher on this. The others can't know about Logan unless Charles mind wipes them or something like that.
Bring in The Haitian!
Mystique was intended to be his father and Destiny his mother. But they vetoed this idea mainly due to the lesbianism (this was the 80s, I believe). Also, it wouldn't have made any sense for Mystique to be able to do that unless she could truly control her atomic structure like Apocalypse. And if she can, she should be able to do much more than just become other people.
Like I said, Sabretooth would be a logical choice for a dad. Just explain that he and Graydon Creed are fraternal twins or something.
And get rid of that stupid "I threw Nightcrawler off a cliff into the water" origin and put back the original origin where Mystique pretended to be a dying woman who made sure Kurt was safely given to the Wagners. You hear me Marvel?!

Scott, Jean, and Storm are not cast yet and I'm starting to think they won't be in the film since filming starts in three weeks.

This movie is really shaping up to be a total hodgepodge.
There are so many characters, it's giving me a headache. Maybe I should stick with only the Marvel-run Marvel character movies.
Eh, she's a better Sue Storm type. Christina Hendricks with a blonde wig would be more the Emma Frost type. But it would be funny if Jon Hamm gets cast as Superman. Marvel-DC crossover battle royale!
