Maybe I should have entered a colored avatar in the contest? I just did black and white. I like black and white.
And ANOTHER international spot with different footage! My goodness me. They went for MONTHS with NOTHING and now we get two or 3 things DAILY. Jimminy they seem to have their butts on backwards in promoting this film!

Told you it would get a heavy push towards the end. I like the Emma poster the best out of those international ones.
I don't think he looks too bad. If anything he looks more feral.
Two early reviews, er well not reviews. There must be a stipulation about how much these folks at early screenings are allowed to say or reveal, but these 2 are practically bursting at the seems to say some goodness.

Is the helmet dorky in this one? Jesus Mary and Joseph I swear these trailers are just playing the movie at warp speed! Who is running down the flaming hallway? Why is Shaw wearing the helmet? Oh my!

Seriously, some of the video reviews I linked to above were guys saying how they thought the style was going to be uber period piece and stupid looking and they said it 110% works. What is with the review restriction until May 25 anyway? They aren't having any big premieres, stupidly, and the movie comes out June 1-3. They are going to let reviewers spoil it a week ahead of time? The 'initial thoughts' I read said that even if they were permitted to write spoiler reviews now, they wouldn't, because it is just that kind of movie!

agreed. what i didn't like though, was after the first movie was a hit they gave everyone in the comics a new black leather costume. just doesn't work with certain characters.I like both the black leather costumes and the new costumes for this movie.
The leather uniforms in the X-men movies were awesome but no good for comics which need to be colourful so that the characters are easily distinguishable.
I'm a bit confused by the movie timeline now though. So Beast is meant to be a bit younger than Xavier now and therefore much older than Cyclops and Jean? But isn't Emma Frost in this movie as well as the Wolverine prequel where she appeared to be the same age as Cyclops, who is clearly much younger than Xavier? Would be so nice if that means we can ignore Wolverine 1 from the movie canon!
I'm looking forward to this movie but I can't get overly excited because it's a distraction from the proper sequel to X-men 3 that I'd prefer to see.

I'm not planning on paying any attention to that convoluted knot-fest, because trying to unravel it would obviously interfere with my ability just sit back and enjoy the flick. The relative ages according to the comics went out the window in the first film.
