X-MEN: FIRST CLASS (Casting, Rumors, Pics till release)

Whoa!!! I've no idea what to make of that particular scene. So Charles, Erik, and Mystique meet as kids? Or I assume that is some psychic trick?
 
I wondered that too, more some sort of physic remember when we were not really happy kids moment? Cute little blue baby Mystique! Lot of stuff gearing up for this movie now and I don't know what the heck side topic all you folks are on! See, my persistence and impatience is going to get these 135 pages back on track Admiral! :)
 
^ Good work KB! I must say though this movie has got my attention now. I'm really excited for it. I am feeling like I did just before "X2" was released.

Isn't it said that Mystique ages slower due to her shapeshifting? If Nightcrawler & Mystique are mother & son, they still look about the same age in X2. Mystique is crazy old.

Isn't it said that Mystique ages slower due to her shapeshifting? If Nightcrawler & Mystique are mother & son, they still look about the same age in X2. Mystique is crazy old.

Unless this movie indicates otherwise, I think the family relation between Mystique and Nightcrawler was removed.
 
^ Nah she hooks up with Erik ;) I think Mystique being Kurt's mom and Rouge's step mother has been removed from this continuity.
 
I wondered about all that since it seems they made baby Mystique the same age, but then she keeps a teeny looking appearance later. I think there's time to get this things straightened out if there is a new trilogy. Otherwise they may just release everything in a new blu-ray set and alter the original films to fit in line with the new vision, you know, Lucas style <roll>

Yes, while I don't really get the whole Slumdog Millionaire thing, I love Trainspotting so hopefully Fassbender will somehow be able to breathe and make this movie, too. Then again, more rumors are coming out about him being in the window for being January Jones' baby daddy. I, however, am more interested in why his hair was dyed blonde for Prometheus.

i just watched those clips posted above, i forgot they meet as kids. Well I'm sure she's bound to hook up with Azazel at some point, even if they don't show any budding relationship. I mean why even have him there right?

Even if it is, it seems they're still impling she's old.
 
^ Old and through her shape-shifting ability able to slow down or at least change her age appearance? It would have been interesting had they included Destiny in the movies.
 
^ I'm pretty sure that's why they hired Jennifer Lawrence, because she somewhat resembled Rebecca. It turns out she's a better actress than Rebecca :)
 
Yes, this Mystique eventually evolves into the Mystique we saw in the first two X-Men films. Pretty sure the trailers have made that clear, especially her character trailer and the scene with Erik.
