Really enjoyed the clip. I think that scene alone was probably one of the biggest actions scenes we've gotten in a Brian Singer X-Men movie. I can't wait to see what the rest of the movie is like.

Looks great, can't wait! The X-MEN and BATMAN films are the main series in the comic book/superhero genre I enjoy the most and revisit frequently on DVD, so this is one of my most anticipated movies of the year.

The only thing I'm a little confused about (and I'm sure this will be cleared up come movie-time) is why past-Xavier is sometimes in a wheel chair and sometimes not in a wheel chair.

Perhaps, and this would explain the Last Stand prologue with X and Magneto as well, some sort of metallic device X wears that Eric manipulates? Perhaps guided by Charles' telepathy?

Or he's not walking at all and it's a projection, as well as the figure we saw in Last Stand and X-Men: Origins.

That's a good enough explanation for me :bolian:

As for the film, I was interested in seeing it, but I think that third trailer really pushed me into the "must see" category. This film looks great, and as some of my friends have been mentioning, this is the X-Men film Singer has been wanting to make for a while now.

I just hope it lives up to the hype I'm building for it :D

The cryptic hint we got from Singer is that his walking comes "with a cost"

Divergent timelines? The one we saw in FIRST CLASS, versus one where he never caught the diverted bullet but someone else did and died? Or possibly the gunshot on the beach is completely prevented (it would make sense to try to repair the rift between Mags and Charles before this point), but that results in someone else (Moira?) dying.

This certainly looks lightyears better than X3 and Origins. And as good as The Wolverine was, I have to admit it's kinda nice seeing the character being a bit jokier and having a bit more fun again.

I think you are reading the reason his walking comes at a great cost completely wrong. We see that young Xavier is in a wheel chair and walking in scenes with Wolverine. I think its a cost to him mentally and/or physically. Its a choice he makes. But can only do it for limited amounts of time.
