X-MEN: Days Of Future Past (Casting, Rumors, Pics till release)

Dumping a few more stills. Everything looks like it's straight from a comic page.

I hear Jennifer Lawrence will wear a unitard instead of the pasties.

Quicksilver put me off at first but I'm enjoying this scene a lot.

I'm curious why Magneto needs to set up an arena.

I'm loving the ranges of abilities in this movie.

What happens to Wolverine's original body after he's sent back? Also, who's sending him back? I don't think it's Blink.

I thought it was another character. I was going to ask how Kitty got those abilities but I feel that's spoiler territory.

I was just thinking today that it's been nearly 14 years since X-Men came out. Since then, we've had two actors play Superman (3 if you count Tom Welling), Ben Affleck has become the second actor to be cast as Batman since then, we're on the second iteration of Spider-man since 2001, there have been two different takes on the Hulk (and I'm being generous and counting the Norton/Ruffalo incarnation as one), two Punishers, 2 Catwomen, 2 Blades (including the tv show, though the first Blade movie predated X-Men) and the second modern incarnation of the Fantastic Four has gone into production. Yet the core cast of the first X-Men movie are returning to reprise their roles. How cool is that?
Truly cool indeed!

All of the 1970s stuff looks solid. The future material, though, looks straight out of Mortal Kombat: Annihilation.

Also something to wait and see about. It could take years before anything is known one way or the other.

I don't think there'll be much, if any, impact on DOFP's box office, but, depending on how things unfold, there could be a major impact on Singer's life and career, including perhaps being removed from working on Apocalypse.

I keep hearing that the kid was actually 17.. the legal age of consent. I also question of the Statute of Limitations has expired.

Also, with DofP his BIGGEST film ever, don't you find the timing of these allegations suspect?

Some of the allegations concern things said to have happened in California, where the age of consent is 18, plus the nature of the allegations is that there wasn't consent for all of the sexual acts.

I also question of the Statute of Limitations has expired.
Hawaii passed a law temporarily suspending the statute of limitations in sex abuse cases.

Yes, possibly so. We'll have to see how things unfold.
