It's possible the only future we see is the dystopia.

I think that pic looks great.
My nitpick would be I'd have gone for longer hair and have an 'X' emblem on there somewhere but really it's looking good so far.

I think she looks great...and this is probably the closest that we will get to seeing Ororo or Halle with a mohawk. I also noticed that she's wearing the same silver bars on her shoulder as Patrick Stewart had in that pic with his jacket.
Looks good. We have no idea what time period her or Patrick's scenes take place. In the comics the dytopia is many years in the future. They do not look much different than the previous films. My guess is that in the film we could see multiple points in history put also different timelines.

EDIT: I forgot to post this before. The Following's Adan Canto has joined the cast as somebody.
The news was revealed by a picture that Brian Singer posted to his twitter feed. Nobody knows who he's playing, but Canto did tweet "I might turn into a ball of fire if someone pisses me off".

But remember this is partly a sequel to First Class, so the future could be literally tomorrow to us*.
* Yes I know in the first one they say it's the near future but that never goes anywhere.
The third film also used the "The Not Too Distant Future..." intro text, not that it matters.
But the cool thing is, Days of Future Past was set in 2013. Pity the film won't be out 'til 2014.

Yeah I believe she was among the first batch of returning cast confirmed. It was a while before Ellen Page was, and then so on and so forth, but she was indeed confirmed.
