Where the fuck were the Fantastic Four and Kang, I mean Ramma Tut?

Seriously, Apocalypse side by side with a young Reed Richards.

This is the real history of Marvel Comics.

You already own the Rights FOX, ####ing use them.

Of course you could move First Class to first, since it is chronologically speaking the first movie.
It's very much a sequel though, not to mention Days of Future Past being a sequel to it but also to X-Men, X2, and The Last Stand.

Because if you watch FC first, then you have X1-X3 and The Wolverine to go through, before you get back to the First Class cast in DOFP. That's four movies and hours of time in which you could forget what the First Class story was about and that cast of characters. It's not the same for everybody, but I think putting FC before The Wolverine will keep things fresh in your mind by the time you get to DOFP.

Could not would surely? Not everyone has a dodgy memory.

And as I'm away next week when my friends plan on seeing it, I've told them to go ahead and see it and I'll see it on my own at somepoint.

I did say it was not the same for everybody in my next sentence. Although, you're right. I should've have used "could" instead of "would".

How is FC very much a sequel, Most of the events take place in the 1960's. A few take place before earlier such as during WWII. Sure it's a prequel.

So, is Angel dead ? Seems unlikely as he's such a major X-Man !

Just like Banshee? And Emma Frost? Not to mention the several major one and done characters from DoFP, The Last Stand, X2, etc... That's just the way this franchise works, unfortunately.

I certainly don't scene how that scene could logically be interpreted as anything other than his death, and I would think if they intended to continue using him in the future they would've spent enough time with him to at least actually learn his name and maybe get a glimpse of his personality.

On the bright side, though, once they start getting into genetic experiments and cloning, they can theoretically resurrect anyone they want to, no matter what happened to them in a previous movie.

Because it's made as a film to follow the previous films. Sure, you don't have to have seen them, but the impact is stronger if you have. If you prefer the term prequel, that's fine. I only mean that it delivers more if watched in release order.

Haha, I think we should create or own "machete order", like the Star Wars movies have.
Not a terrible idea.
I'm thinking FC>X1>X2>X3>Wolverine>DoFP>Apoc.
Origins & Deadpool could be a double feature watched after all the rest. ;)

After Fox's repeated failures with Fantastic four I'd rather they just sit on it until they can give the rights back to Marvel. It's clear that they have no idea what made that group popular nor how to make it work on the big screen.

I'm now scared for X-Men. Not only is it set to open against Alice in Wonderland Through The Looking Glass this Friday, but the week after that, TMNT 2 opens. Coupled with the poor reviews the film is getting, it's looking ugly for my mutant brothers and sisters.

It's already doing well enough - I wouldn't worry !

Did people like the first TMNT and Alice movies enough to bring big Box Office numbers to the sequels? I haven't seen the first TMNT, but I did see the first Alice and didn't particularly care for it. I might see the second Alice as a Netflix rental if people seem to like it better than the first.
I do plan on watching the first TMNT and going to see the second one, but if it comes down to it or Apocalypse, I would definitely be going to see Apocalypse.

The first TMNT did $493 million worldwide and Tim Burton's first Alice in Wonderland did $1 billion+ worldwide. Those international box offices, mate. Things like POTC and Alice in Wonderland do big business in Asian countries like India, China, and Japan.

Alice In Wonderland was one of my favorite 3D experiences. That type of movie is just so perfect for that format. Hope the sequal brings a similiar experience.
