X-Men 4 ???

Turns out Second Class and X4 will be the same movie due to.....TIME TRAVEL! OMG! The plot: The villain hatches an elaborate attempt to erase the events of The Last Stand by going back to the 60s and warn Magneto. This, of course, will teased during in the post-credits sequence of The Wolverine which will also feature Sam Jackson as Nick Fury, not because he was written into the script. Jackson just decided to show up on the set and refused to leave.

Long since moved on?? I just stated that X4 was being discussed as recent as last year. That's hardly a long time. It probably hasn't had any real development but that doesn't mean it isn't still in play.

Do you think it would be more exciting if anyone in the film could shoot lasers out of their eyes, even (especially) the normal humans?

So you're saying that Second Class will blatantly acknowledge The Last Stand in an attempt to allow future movies to ignore The Last Stand. Sounds risky.

Brett Ratner as director, Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer as writers, and Paul W.S. Anderson as producer. That would be as epic as it could possibly get.

As much as it is unlikely to happen I'd like Bryan Singer to return to direct X4. I think this is why Fox hasn't announced anything yet. They're still hoping to convince him or hope his busy schedule will open up.
