I think it's a fake trailer with scenes/outtakes from X3, and possibly alternate scenes from X2. I won't praise the effort, because it's not even that convincing. Also, there's no description, and likes/dislikes are disabled.

It didn't. This board is full of X followers. There would've been a tracking thread full of legit links going back at least a year. An in production X-4 would not escape us.

There's been no news on X4 since early last year (March 2011) when Lauren Shuler Donner stated that it was still "in active development at Fox" and that it would lead into a X5. There is currently no one attached creatively. Apparently Donner pitched Bryan Singer some kind of plot in an attempt to convince him to direct the film. Of course he wanted to direct First Class but couldn't get out of his iron clad Warner Bros contract for "Jack the Giant Killer". Fox seems to be quite happy to focus on First Class right now anyway.

A sequel will never happen, at least not with the same actors. It is the same reason nearly all superhero movies reboot after a third movie. It ends up being too expensive to bring a large cast back together for a fourth movie.

This happened with the very successful franchise like Sam Raimi's Spider-man and will happen with Nolan's Batman.
