X-Files Revival Officially Ordered at Fox

As I understand it, Fox approached Carter because the 24 thing went over like gangbusters, Carter approached both Duchovny and Anderson, and Anderson said she'd do it if they could find a way to fit in her schedule, hence the six-episode miniseries (I think Carter was originally wanting nine or ten episodes but it was just logistically impossible).

Ah. Like last time with IWTB. Only difference being that it was a writer's strike.

Yep. I think they wanted more too, but it just didn't fit in with everyone's schedules.

Episodes 4, 5 and 6 titles revealed:

The X-Files - Episode 10.04 - Babylon

The X-Files - Episode 10.05 - Founder's Mutation

The X-Files - Episode 10.06 - My Struggle II (Season Finale)

Cool. Thanks for posting these, Enterprise is Great.

"Founder's Mutation" sounds like an anagram for something, but I'm not sure what.

Interesting title for the sixth installment. Perhaps bookend stories or a narrative framework that Carter is trying out? I'd be very happy if the producers took the revival as an opportunity to experiment with the presumed structure of a network television series.

Hannibal is over now, so that might free her up for more if they decide to continue after the miniseries.

The X-Files revival will have a two-part trailer this Monday night. The first part during Gotham, the second during Minority Report.

For those of us with stomachs too weak to sit through Gotham or Minority Report.

That was pretty great.
That looked like a young hand, so I wonder if CSM will just be seen in the flashbacks, with William B. Davis's just dubbed over the younger actor's. Do we know for a fact we will see William B. Davis or just that he's involved?

This trailer made me giddy.

I've watched it a half-dozen times and I still don't see Krycek anywhere. Where do you guys see him?

The clean-shaven Joel McHale looks a little like Krycek, walking from the helicopter to Mulder's front porch.
