wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

I've stopped paying attention to The Warrior. It's not even that what he says makes me think, because I'm willing to put up with a strong conservative opinion under that guise. He just strikes me as being a few bucks away from being one of those guys who hangs around a Greyhound bus station, and screams at passing pigeons.

I don't think he's stupid. I just think his intelligence is crushed under the weight of his ego and insanity.

well I was watching impact last night and finally a few changes.
one jeff is a face and it looks like he been clean for a while.
two sting is done with joker face and is in managiral postion with the tv people.
they broke up Beer Money which was stupid.

and it looks like odb is losin weight. mickey james still looks hot and get a tital shot.

Heel turn? It's fucking Hornswoggle.

Trust me, it could really work!

Imagine the heat he could generate if he came out dressed in a suit and insulted the audience before setting his minions upon the babyfaces? - Cena, Punk, Ryder, etc.
So you think it's a good idea for a midget who previously dressed up like a leprechaun and acted like a cunt to become an evil genius midget with henchmen? I find that too dreadful an idea for words I'm afraid.

Not if he comes out and declares that he's not going to play the comedy dwarf role anymore and insults the audience for buying into it. He could then announce that he finally found a way to get into a position of power and announces his new associate - Alberto Del Rio.

Knowing WWE, they'll probably go with putting Hornswoggle in the Knick Knack role from TMWTGG - despite the fact that Hornswoggle is a dwarf, not a midget. Still, it could be a great partnership if Hornswoggle plays Del Rio's vicious manservant. They could have Hornswoggle interfere in matches with a signature weapon and viciously beat down Del Rio's opponents. The concept would be "small but deadly" and the push would be about getting Hornswoggle over as a vicious, calculating and deceitful heel manager.

He'd have to change his name from Hornswoggle to something normal, but "WWE sounding". I don't think Hornswoggle's real name - Dylan Postl is within that "WWE sound" category. Besides, they'll want something they can trademark.

I say team him up with the One Man Southern Rock Band Heath Slater and he can be like Joe C was to Kid Rock. :)

Joseph "Joe C." Calleja[1] (November 9, 1974 – November 16, 2000) was an American rapper and musician. His popularity and fame were based on his relationship as hype man and comic relief for fellow rapper Kid Rock.[1

Hornswoggle would be great in that role. :techman:

[edit] Plus Heath Slater could use a "hype man".

I put it to a vote that hornswaggle needs to be the RAW general manager. I mean he's been there a good 6yrs now. and I loved how he called vickie grannie.

Are we seriously talking about Hornswaggle? Really? Maybe this is a sign that things are actually in the dumps.

Pretty much!

There is talk of them FINALLY doing away with the awful spinner belt. WWE.com has had an article up and there's been discussion on some of the dirt sheet sites about the likes of Punk, Triple H and even Cena pitching the change to Vince McMahon.

A couple of years ago, WWE had a new WWE Championship belt with a platinum design commisioned. I'm wondering if they'll use this or revert back to a previous design (updated of course) a'la the Intercontinental Championship.

This beauty's the true belt in my view. And the duality between having this for the WWE and the Big Gold Belt for the WHC just feels right to me.

Yeah, I like the Attitude Era belt, but I think a completely new belt is needed at this stage.

Speaking of title situations, the United States Championship follows the lineage of the WCW United States title. What I don't get is that the WHC doesn't follow the lineage of the WCW World Heavyweight title - despite being almost the exact same design.

Between the end of the Invasion angle and the Vengeance PPV, the WCW World Heavyweight title was known as the "World Championship" whilst the WWF World Heavyweight Championship was known as the "WWF Championship". This was done to simplify things until they could unify the belts. The WHC at this time still followed the WCW lineage and this carried on until Chris Jericho unified the two titles. At this point it became the "WWE Undisputed Championship" and on the Raw following Wrestlemania, Triple H was presented with a new belt to represent this.

The confusing thing is, the Undisputed title follows the lineage of the WWE Championship, but not the WCW World Heavyweight title. It seems that following the unification of the belts and the subsequent "new" title in the guise of the Undisputed Championship that WWE began to recognise Undisputed title reigns as WWE Championship reigns. Indeed, when the Undisputed title was renamed to the "WWE Championship" and the World Heavyweight Championship was activated, any Undisputed title reigns were recognised simply as WWE Championship reigns - including Chris Jericho's and Triple H's, despite the fact both of them carried the WWF and WCW belts.

The WHC follows the lineage only as far back as 2002 when Triple H was presented with the title belt. I think it would mean more if WWE officially recognised the WCW lineage, but then they would have to acknowledge a lot of names they don't want to in the title's history and there's the whole NWA connection they want to avoid with the title since it represented the NWA at one stage.

Despite the fact both the WHC and WWE titles are "world titles", it's clear that the WWE Championship is seen as the best of the two. This is how it will always be since the WWE Championship has the greater lineage and is an original product of Vince McMahon and his family - unlike the WHC which follows the design of a rival company.

Isn't the spinner belt just really Cena's custom design? They probably kept it because they keep on having him win it back from people all the time. My favourite WWE Title design is just prior to the Attitude Era belt (or I guess the first redesign when Stone Cold won his second title?) as I mentioned in the thread several weeks ago the title that Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart wore. I loved that belt when I was a kid.

Of course the WWE Title is considered a higher value since the World Heavyweight Championship Title is just the old NWA/WCW World Title. I've always wondered why they kept it for so long...and yes I realize it was to do with both shows having their own champions. I kind of liked the belt...I miss nWo spray painted on it though :)

Yeah that was an awesome little touch that provided incredible heat on the NWO! The best part was that it wasn't the original belt that they spray painted, they went with a replica that looked pretty close to the original. Knowing WCW's budget in those days they probably had a duplicate made (the original cost something like $40k) just to ruin with spray paint!

Of course, the very original "big gold belt" that represented the NWA championship was kept by Ric Flair when the NWA refused to return his championship deposit when he left for the WWF. The WCW World Heavyweight title was in fact a remake itself with the NWA etching left out. Apparently Flair gave the NWA belt to Triple H as a present but we won't see it displayed at any WWE exhibition events anytime soon because of the aforementioned NWA etchings.

The WHC has changed recently, I've noticed that the inner side of the belt is now red leather as opposed to black. I'm wondering if this was a modification made for Mark Henry so he could wear the title around his waist? If you remember when Henry was the ECW Champion, he only started wearing the title around his waist when they brought out the new silver belt.

Yeah that Undisputed Title design was pretty cool. I don't really like the first one they had it was ugly. I don't like the Undisputed Tag Titles they have now or the WWE Tag Team Titles. As Admiral M stated I love the retro 80's/ 90's Intercontinental Title design that Cody has now. It reminds me of the Ultimate Warrior's run. I remember that they'd change the colour of the actual strap depending on who won it. Kind of a precursor to the custom title designs.

Okay this kind of decision making irritates me...why the fuck is Cena always the go to guy in an "emergency" situation? They obviously know that John divides the fandom and have been playing that up lately but come on fuck show a little bit more faith in your other main event guys rather than going to Cena all the time.

Really it was either Cena or Jericho that Vince went back with when title decisions were flops. I do agree that Del Rio has been badly booked and made look to be a coward heel which kind of doesn't work in this day and age IMO.

Now we're getting a Chris Beniot bio-pic I guess based on the book Crossface. I guess they want to try and tap into that "Wrestler" "The Fighter" "Warrior" vibe.
