wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

WWF_Championship_1998_-_2002.jpg

This beauty's the true belt in my view. And the duality between having this for the WWE and the Big Gold Belt for the WHC just feels right to me.

I miss that one, but the Big Gold Belt is still my favorite design of all time.

I also kind of miss the 1985-1998 intercontinental title.

Didn't CM Punk vow to change the WWE title way back when because quote: "It's been far too ugly for far too long"?

Yeah I believe that quote or something similar was attributed to him. Vince will probably have the final say on a redesign. He seems hesitant for whatever reason.

fantastic I am glad she's back. :drool::drool::drool:

well the miz is now in TLC match with cm punk. now I am hoping Daniel will beat alberto del rio that would be AWESOME!!

AND michael cole is the loser. he just keeps talking about himself.

What did everyone think of the WWE Network programming announcement? The WWE Legends House thing seems like an okay concept. Also there isn't a need to give a running commentary of Raw. This isn't a Raw or Smackdown commentary thread.

Also Timothy once again...you realize that is exactly what heels are supposed to do? Talk themselves up? That's exactly why you find him so annoying. Same with Vicky.

yeah I know.

john cena is awesome pulls himself out the tlc champion ship to give zack another shot. how awesome is that.

as for the wwe network promo awesome. well be getting show's from ECW,WCW,AMA and I was'nt sure what that last company was. as for the reality house of legends I am currious who is going to be in it. all so wondering if Hulk will try to get out of Impact Wrestling to be part of the new network.

DAMN, why?! now this is another fair match kevin vs sanito John L. sucks.

good to see Even Bourne back.

One frustrating thing about Cole as a heel is that he'll pour it on but then he'll act like a normal face commentator a few minutes later. It just doesn't work any more.

Also of course the matches John L aren't "fair" he's a heel general manager.

I loved how zack cost ziggler a champion ship shot. but John this was'nt a great Raw it was eh tonight. other than zack and the WWE network promo. now onto the contract sighning.

John is not mr.excitement his mr.dull drowning shit for brains.

^ Why are you reacting to the heels? What a meh Raw. The show's lack of structure is starting to hurt it now. Things are becoming sloppy.

I don't know sometime sertin heels just piss me off. and I really don't like john L..
now it really seems to me they want john to lose his title at tlc giving him a match john cena. and agin we will have to put up with michael cole.

I take any "Never, ever, ever" type thing in wrestling with a grain of salt, and Jericho is no exception to that. I'm not gonna bank on his return as a sure thing, but I would be extremely surprised if 2012 came and went without his return.

I actually thought Raw was pretty good.

The first half of Raw was pretty decent. I would have booked the three of them in a triple thread match with the winner earning the number one contendership against Punk...that's the problem though they need to fill air time. I guess Mick is going to be used mostly on Smackdown.

That can still happen...and again you make such a big deal about hating the heels. You realize that John L acts the way he does to draw heat right??? I mostly just ignore the heels I can't stand. Same with the faces.

Post-1980's - WWE has done a lame job with heels. Fair enough, it was a different era where kayfabe was alive and well and the likes of Roddy Piper were villified to the point that people would try and attack them in public. The point is, the WWE doesn't seem to have evolved so much with their mentality in creating heel characters.

Many of their heel characters follow a similar pattern modeled after the 1980's heels. The trouble is that in an era where kayfabe is redundant, the classic heel is no longer effective. Here's the thing, John Cena is perhaps the most over heel that the company has despite the fact he is playing a classic babyface. I feel that wrestling should evolve to reflect this and characters should be based around elements that one demographic loves and another demographic hate.

It may be complicated to pull off, given that the "classic heel" of wrestling will be phased out, but this is WWE and they are adamant that they are more than just wrestling - so I'd like to see them try this method of storytelling. They've basically opened it up for John Cena since he's essentially doing it already. Furthermore, have you seen the psychology that Cena displays when the crowd is clearly against him? It's absolutely magnificient and a real sign that Cena is more than skilled to play a duel role.
