wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

There is no excuse for some of Matt Hardy's behaviour, but we have to consider what has lead him to this low point. Both the Hardy brothers were two of the hardest working wrestlers of the early 2000's and prior to that they were both working regulary as enhancement talent in the WWE as well as running their own promotion (OMEGA).

Jeff Hardy left WWE in 2003 following burnout (and failure of a drug test). Prior to this he had been working non stop for nearly 6 years. Matt Hardy, apart from a break in 2004 for injury had worked non stop for longer. In fact Matt went straight to ROH following his release from WWE in 2005 and returned to the WWE a month or so later (where he resumed the full time touring schedule).

Matt was always seen as the lesser of the two Hardy's by WWE. Despite things looking like they might go the opposite way (2003 as Matt Hardy V1 and 2005 in the feud with Edge), Matt quickly lost momentum on each occasion. His run as United States in 2008 champion was the first secondary title he had held in the WWE (shameful for a near 10 year midcard veteran). His reign as ECW Champion was another attempt at the top, but things just didn't work out and following the feud between the Hardy's, Matt was back to working the midcard.

TNA to their credit have stood by Jeff Hardy despite his drug problems. In the last couple of months it was announced that Matt was suspended and advised to go to rehab. Whether Matt's problems are on par with Jeff's, is no consequence because both of them need to work out their problems. Hopefully some good will come out of Matt's release, hopefully it will inspire him to sort himself out and get things back on track.

In others news: The original Sin Cara has returned, it's been reported by several sites that he worked a house show over the weekend.

I have never had a problem with Matt & Jeff...hopefully Matt can pull it together and bounce back from this...somewhere. :(

Unfortunately I don't think that will be the case. I just hope they can keep themselves alive at this rate. I know that might seem harsh but I don't really have a good feeling about the Hardy's getting themselves healthy in both mind and body. They seem to both have a lot of anger issues that have festered their other problems.

they both need a kick in the ass the get there shit together and back to wrestleing.
I am tired of wrestlers screwing themselves up over stupid shit. It looks like RVD has been doing great staying strieght. I like the fact that crimson is steping up to title picture in tna or (impact wrestling). all so it seems wz is doing a pole for who you would like to see wrestle goldberg. my self I would like to see him wrestle undertaker.

Wrestling should be the least of the Hardy's priorities timothy. They just need to get themselves well. I think they're done unless some indy promotion wants to take a shot at them.

I'd like to see 'em on ROH that's for sure. were coming up sept. and still have no clue what channel they may be on here in dallas arghl.<(:scream::scream::scream::scream::scream:)

yep by that list were not going to get here damn it. I am stuck with just wwe and impact wrestling. shit

The Miz confirms he has a broken nose and apparently sustained a concussion with his match against Cena at WM27 which one could assume was one of the reasons for the type of finish they ended up having.

No Botchamania 183 yet but someone did do a pretty cool music video. It's on the main site, just scroll down past Kevin Nash's grinning mug and you'll find it.

I've also been debating about writing something about wrestling for my Word Press blog, but I've been stuck on coming up with something, I feel like talking about.

I've been thinking about doing something similar, but I'd like to run a cooperative blog. Maybe some of the members of the board here would be up for that? Obviously it would be non profit and merely a collection of various articles documenting our opinions on the current product and discussing what we liked and disliked about the business in general.

Yeah, I'm down for that. I could even write some old-school articles.

Something occoured to me a while back... and I apologize if anyone else noticed this already and posted it.

CM Punk made a point about John Cena having everything handed to him and receiving title shot after title shot after title shot... I wondered if WWE were actually listening and I got my answer last monday.

When after defeating Cena for the WWE title CM Punk was 'stuck' by Kevin Nash and Alberto Del Rio swooped in and cashed in his MitB briefcase.

Bear in mind: Punk still won the feud with Cena. Punk should still be the #1 contender.

Yet, Punk is feuding with Nash and Cena is in line to receive yet another shot at the WWE title. :wtf:

I'd be down with that as well.

The Angry Miz Girl's facebook page (not the real one as has been pointed out in the thread before) pointed out an interesting fact. Edge has been involved in the Money in the Bank briefcase pay out at Wrestlemania since the very first one back in 06' when he cashed in his against John Cena. I very much doubt he will be involved next year but it WAS an interesting point.

Looks like Rey is going to be out for 6 months or so...

The word at Raw is that Rey Mysterio has been diagnosed with a torn ACL and is scheduled to undergo surgery later this week. He's expected to be out at least six months, according to one source within the company.

From PWI

that really sucks I like rey and I hope he comes out okay. is this something that alberto del rio did?
