I'd be up for something like that...after trying to watch Impact Wrestling again on Thursday night I think that I've made the decision to go back to ignoring it. It is just boring. I am totally uninterested in the programs they got going on there right now and I don't want to see Flair/Sting 1500. I don't want to see Hogan/Sting 1400. I'd rather see stuff like AJ Styles Vs Ken Anderson. Or Crimson Vs Kurt Angle. Hell I'd take Jarrett Vs Somoa Joe over the damn WCW shit.
I cannot watch Impact Wrestling or anything that TNA calls "programming". Its a mess with very little continunity (which is extremely bad, even for professional wrestling) and constant face and heel turns that occur on a monthly (sometimes more) basis.
I don't mind the likes of Sting, Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair being featured prominantly because the truth is they draw more than the rest of the roster. But they need to be featured where they can help the product and not take all the spotlight for themselves. Hulk Hogan would make an excellent road agent and this would greatly benefit the younger talent with their promos and crowd interaction. Hogan should also remain as an on screen personality, but in a non wrestling capacity.
Ric Flair should stick to a managerial role. Since Sting is the best physical condition of the three, he should continue wrestling, but part time (like The Undertaker). He should be used, not as champion but as the veteran (again like The Undertaker). His role should be as the top legend and should be used in a special appearance role.
As for who should be working the top. I reckon there is only space for 6 people in the main event picture. These should be...
Kurt Angle (he's the best all rounder in the promotion, he draws and delivers high quality matches.)
AJ Styles (a great worker, very adaptable to whatever style his opponent uses.)
Samoa Joe (a great worker, very talented and experienced with working at the main event level.)
Christopher Daniels (See AJ Styles and Samoa Joe.)
Ken Anderson (as much as I dislike him, he's a good talker and respectable worker.)
Robert Roode (fits the role as a wrestling standard, classic look and great in ring ability.)
