wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

Miz Vs Zack Ryder? Give me a HELL YEAH! :p

timothy suggested a feud with Zack Ryder earlier in the thread. I could actually see this working really well. As I stated earlier, Miz is a former reality TV star and Zack Ryder's gimmick is essentially that of a reality TV star. They could have Ryder make Miz his browski of the week, only for Miz to refuse and ridicule him. They could then have Ryder come out and state that since Miz refused his offer, he went ahead and did it anyway. Ryder could then do something like screen a video of Miz's cringeworthy reality moments, followed by Miz running to the ring and laying the smackdownon Ryder.

It would be a character based feud and while they would compete in matches against each other, the focus would be the characters. It would be amazing to see Miz and Ryder on Piper's Pit.

It was me not timothy. ;)

Sorry!

I didn't go back to check, I just remembered it was suggested and used the first person who sprang to mind. I've gone back and ammended it.

after seeing edge at summerslam I would like to see him as commentator with booker t on smackdown and get rid of cole.

Top guys on RAW are; Cena, CM Punk, Alberto Del Rio, The Miz, Rey Mysterio, R-Truth, Kofi Kingston, Jack Swagger...For WWE title consideration. Anyone else falls either in Tag team or US Title contention and then nothing.

^ Agreed.

timothy I'm afraid as much as you hate Cole (which you're supposed to) he ain't going anywhere :) They brought back J.R. to get another face commentator. Frankly this is an area with both companies are lacking. I realize that it isn't a priority to be developing commentators but I would at least be conscience of it.

I am looking forward to smackdown this friday to see what christian does this week to regian his Hwc.

I was thinking about the NBC Wrestlemania special and found it interesting that it decided to focus mainly on the Undertaker/HHH match. Mostly because some of the interview spots they had from the superstars had quotes like "Wrestlemania could have been just UT/HHH" stuff like that. They spent a couple of minutes at the end on the actual main event. Aside from the chance of actually watching the bulk of the UT/HHH match for the first time (I thought it was excellent, and especially liked the finish) there was no real need for this special. It got 3.6 million views though so I guess it was worth it.

The match was the only "wrestling" selling point about the ppv. Most of the other matches were rushed through. It may have been a success commercially, but the PPV was a massive flop on a critical acclaim level.

^ Agreed which also is another reason why the Rock/Cena booking bugs me so much when you have a deep roster of both proven and up and coming superstars that you can book to promote the granddaddy of the year.

I really want to see Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar at the next Wrestlemania. With Lesnar and Heyman annoucing that they've entered into a business relationship with WWE, it gives hope that they can persuade Lesnar to come back for a match. Even if he is a complete bastard!

^^ That would be awesome and would increase 20-0's profile big time as i think it would actually be at risk with Brock. That brings up an interesting question for debate, would Calloway break his streak to anyone if it was good for business? I mean really good for business and started some kind of fued? I ask because I honestly don't see the creative team booking a loss. Any Wrestlemania match involving 'Taker will have multiple false finishes like the one against HHH did. I just feel like 20-0 is guaranteed at this point. It really sucks that Sting put his ego in front of making a business decision that would have benefited hugely because the buy rates for 27 would have went through the roof. Sting/Undertaker.

Then I would have booked Sting against CM Punk to follow that up. That would have be an entertaining program. Eventually leading towards a WWE Title match at Survivor Series between Sting and Miz or ugh...Cena.

There is some bad blood between Lesnar and WWE. It all began pretty much at the beginning of Lesnar's career. Jim Ross (who was head of talent at the time) signed Lesnar to a development contract after being impressed with Lesnar's legitimate athleticism and accomplishments in amateur wrestling. Lesnar trained at OVW and Vince McMahon fell in love with him. Lesnar had the body, the size and the look along with the wrestling ability and similar athletic background of Kurt Angle.

In 2002 Lesnar was called up to the main roster, he was paired with Paul Heyman (Vince put his personal feelings with Heyman aside here because he knew Heyman could get Lesnar over) and given the biggest initial push in WWE history. In April he debuted and destroyed Matt and Jeff Hardy in a feud that lasted a little over a few weeks. In June he dominated and defeated Hulk Hogan before going on to win the King Of The Ring Tournament. In August he defeated The Rock to win the WWE Championship in the main event of Summerslam.

By 2003, Lesnar was the top guy on Smackdown and one of the top guys overall in the WWE (behind only Triple H and The Undertaker). He won the 2003 Royal Rumble and went on to defeat Kurt Angle in the main event of Wrestlemania for the WWE Championship.

To put this into perspective, in Lesnar's first year with the WWE he was booked clean over pretty much everyone (including Hogan, Rock and Undertaker), won the King Of The Ring, headlined Summerslam and won the WWE Championship, won the Royal Rumble and then won the WWE Championship for the 2nd time in the main event of his first Wrestlemania. From the get go, Brock was destined to be Vince McMahon's biggest star but...It started to go wrong.

Following Lesnar losing the title to Kurt Angle and then regaining it, Brock turned heel. Following a series of feuds that didn't really amount to much, Brock lost the title to Eddie Guerrero and it was decided he and Goldberg would meet at Wrestlemania. It's been rumored that the long term plan was to have Brock feud with The Undertaker outside of the WWE Championship picture and they wanted Brock to lose a series of times to Taker. According to some people, Brock didn't like this percieved demotion.

Shortly before Wrestlemania, Lesnar negotiated himself out of his contract in order to pursue his dream of playing American Football. This likely caused a lot of bad blood between Vince and Brock because it was expected that Brock would stay long term. One of the clauses attached to Lesnar's release, was that he could not work for any professional wrestling or mixed martial arts organisation until June 2010. With his release secured, Lesnar left WWE after losing to the also departing Goldberg at Wrestlemania 20.

Brock Lesnar failed to make the NFL cut and when he failed to find work in any other athletic avenues, he decided to contest the no compete clause. WWE were extremely pissed and filed a countersuit that protested Lesnar appearing in a non-wrestling role in NJPW. The case nonetheless was dropped and WWE negotiated a new contract for Lesnar to return. Ultimately these negotiations fell through and the original case was ruled in Lesnar's favour, making him free to return to other pro wrestling organisations.

In 2006 he joined NJPW, where he was pushed strong and won the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. Eventually he joined Antonio Inoki's IGF promotion and he was stripped of the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. Nonetheless, Inoki disputed this decision by NJPW and presented Brock with the IWGP Third Belt Championship (which served as the IGF's title). Brock would go on to lose this to Kurt Angle who would then lose the title to IWGP Champion - Shinsuke Nakamura in a unification match.

Brock left the WWE on pretty bad terms. It's surprising that Vince McMahon has agreed to negotiate with him, but despite whatever bad blood may or may not remain, they appear for now to have put it all aside for business purposes.

Aw I was hoping to get some fantasy Sting discussion going on here. I quite like my projected booking for him, or talk about the Undertaker's streak. I frankly don't care about Brock Lesner.

Sting will never work for WWE, unless TNA release him or bollocks up his character. In which case he would probably sooner go home and rest on his ample real estate portfolio and royalties rather than go work for an organisation that could easily tarnish his legacy and have him work 4 dates a week...

Those reasons make it hard for me to speculation on any fantasy booking scenario.

But let's talk about Taker's streak though, what did you have in mind?

I like Brock...I had hoped he would return to WWE...I want Batista to come back too.

I am hoping they do something cool with Mason Ryan when he returns.

I didn't care for Batista at all. I know he has his fanbase but I'm not part of it. I don't think I liked him even as part of Evolution. He left on bad terms as well didn't he? I know there was some kind of issue where he didn't want to resign. I'm surprised that he was not grabbed up by Impact Wrestling. I'm sure they would have started a program between him and Matt Morgan or Scott Steiner lol.

I believe Batista wanted to do MMA?

On June 16, 2010, Batista attended Strikeforce: Los Angeles, having previously registered an interest in competing in Mixed martial arts. On June 21, 2010, Batista announced to TMZ.com that he would be embarking on a MMA career.[101] Batista has announced that he and Strikeforce have agreed on a price and are negotiating a contract. Though in April 2011, Batista announced to TMZ.com that negotiating a contract with Strikeforce fell through when Strikeforce was bought by Zuffa, LLC.[citation needed]

About TNA...
He then criticized rival wrestling promotion Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, claiming, "I've also seen clips of their car wreck matches with A.J. Styles doing his stunts. That's not wrestling. Wrestling is storytelling."[117] In April 2006, Styles responded to Batista's comments, stating, "I think it's funny that a guy who takes a bump and tears his back tells me that I don't know how to wrestle."[118]

I would see him back at WWE before going to TNA.

Batista is no youngster and I pretty much think at his age and with all his injuries he is done. Now Brock I would like to see make another run but right now I dont know who he would have a program with. Although upon thinking about it who better to come in and beat down Mark the wrecking machine Henry than Brock. That would be a good way to get Brock back in and then move hom right into a title shot.
