wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

I all was used to think tripple HHH would try to surpase Ric flare or hulk hogans title reighn. so looking forward toinght.

I'm not surprised that Miz didn't do anything speculator at Summer Slam since he wasn't booked in the program and we speculated that he might not be involved and if he was who he might face.

Hulk Hogan's title reign? You mean as longest reining WWE Champion? That is highly implausible in this day and age. HHH had a shot at Ric Flair's record but I think once he started a family that became more important to him. He's already established his legacy in the business anyways.

so what did everyone think of summerslam compared to money in the bank better, equal or worse than. and what do you think might happen @ raw tonight?

Interestingly enough there have been 7 occasions where someone has become a World Champion in WWE without actually winning the title in a match...

1963: Buddy Rogers is announced as winning a tournament in Rio De Janeiro to become the first WWWF Champion (the tournament didn't actually happen and Rogers was just made the first champion)
1997: Vince McMahon ends the match between Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels and gives the title to Michaels. Also known as the "Montreal Screw Job".
1998: In a worked angle referencing the previous year's events, Vince McMahon stops the match between The Rock and Mankind and gives Rock the vacant WWF(E) Championship
2002: Brock Lesnar refuses to defend the WWE (Undisputed) Championship on Raw, so Eric Bischoff creates the World Heavyweight Championship and awards it to Triple H.
2006: Rob Van Dam cashes in his MITB briefcase and defeats John Cena to win the WWE Championship. The following evening Paul Heyman presents him with the newly reactivated ECW Championship.
2007: John Cena is injured, the WWE Championship is vacated and Vince McMahon awards it to Randy Orton.
2011: Edge uses the Spear in a match against Dolph Ziggler and is stripped of the title. The World Heavyweight Championship is then presented to Dolph Ziggler.

The WWE Championship has never changed hands more than 3 times in one night. This has only happened once at No Mercy 2007. The title was vacated because John Cena had to take time out due to injury. Randy Orton was then awarded the title, lost it to Triple H who then lost it back to Orton in the main event of the card.

There are only two people in the WWE who have held all 3 "World Championships" (WWE, World Heavyweight and ECW Championships). They are Kane and CM Punk.

No one has held the "big 3" (WWE, ECW and WCW) of championships, not in the proper sense anyway. In order to have held the "big 3", you would have had to work for each of the promotions and been champion during a time when they weren't inactive or owned by WWE. Despite this, Big Show is the one who has come closest. He has won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship whilst being a part of WCW, the WWE Championship and the ECW Championship during it's revival by WWE. There is no one who can become a "big 3" champion, unless WWE was to sell the rights to ECW and WCW and the two companies were restarted with their original titles intact.

I think Money in the Bank was a better PPV over Summer Slam. I thought the card was a bit mediocre but they had an amazing finish for their main event. One thing that is getting over shadowed by the happenings on Raw is the feud between Christian and Orton who recaptured the World Championship (not surprisingly). I predict he'll drop it back to Christian at Night of Champions.

Also Jetfire was correct as there was no Rock timothy which makes sense since the Rock has said he would appear at Survivor Series. It is going to be interesting to see what happens if Cena goes into SS titleless.

:barf::barf::barf:

^ that's what I think of alberto del rio I so would've perfered Cm punk as the undisputed champ. and of course michael cole is jumping on the del rio band wagon. I hope kevin shows up tonight. This guy is worse than the miz. I would rather have the MIZ as champ than this guy.

where little jimmy @?

mizfits really, really.

I'm now totally convinced that the WWE has no idea what to do with Miz right now. They're using him for promos and commercials because he's a talented mic performer but they don't know how to incorporate him into any story lines right now. It's frustrating as a Miz fan.

Okay. This Punk/Nash/HHH feud has some great potential.

Steph looks great. I wonder if we're gonna get some kind of rehash of the McMahon/Helmsley era based on what Steph told Punk? Very interesting comments.

THey so under use stephie like they under use the miz even though I don't care for him they don't use 'em and that is just wrong.

Stephanie is in charge of WWE Creative timothy. That is why she doesn't make more camera appearances. I believe she is the head Raw writer.

It dawned on me while watching Del Rio's match with Rey who Alberto reminds me of. He reminds me of a rehashed Rick Martel. You guys remember his heel personal with the perfume and everything? This is probably another case of Vince holding on to a character type he liked but couldn't do anything with until he got the right personality to pull it off and Del Rio is doing it to a tee.

WWE should just have a special John Cena Title. Sigh.

okay that's cool though I would perfer to see more of her in front of the camera than behind. what did you think of what john said to alberto del rio?

^ I already said. I think they should create a special John Cena Title that John has all the time instead of making him drop the title only to have him recapture it. It's gotten silly at this point.

I just knew it. Not even 24 hours since Cena lost the WWE Championship and he's back in the title picture. This will likely be an extremely predictable feud that will see John Cena becoming a 12 time World Champion and possibly burying Del Rio in the process. I'm glad that CM Punk's momentum is still going strong and hopefully a feud with Triple H is being setup.

I think sometimes that WWE is trying to turn the "WWE Universe" against Cena by having him constantly in the main event title picture. But then I realise that WWE probably think it's the best thing to do, despite the fanbase turning against him in the process. Cena is pretty much the only face in the history of the WWE to recieve a bigger heel reaction than any of the actual heels.

I'd really like to see Cena work with someone like R-Truth or even John Morrison in a feud that doesn't contain the WWE Championship. Both of those men need the credibility and experience working with someone like Cena for an extended period. Having a star who has main event potential, work with a top guy is normally the way of getting that worker through the glass ceiling. Cena is at a point where World Championships do nothing for him and he is over enough to work with anyone and put anyone over without damaging his character or his credibility.

The sad truth is, Cena is Vince McMahon's attempt to create another Hulk Hogan. Many people have suggested that Vince sees Hulk Hogan's phenomenonal drawing ability as solely his creation. Yet, because there is evidence against that theory (Hogan was drawing massive and well on his way to the top prior to the WWE), Vince is trying to prove people wrong by creating a modern version of Hogan. Luckily, Vince still manages to drop this attitude and return to the mindset that has made him the most successful professional wrestling executive of all time. He took an old school company, mixed it with entertainment and popular culture and formed his own brand (which he calls "Sports Entertainment") that has made him extremely rich and successful in the entertainment world.

I don't see Cena wanting to wrestle into his 40's like many wrestlers. Cena has done it all already, he is financially set for life and has carved out an impressive reputation that would allow him a platform to easily branch into other areas of the entertainment world. He is a success story from the WWE machine and a genuinely nice guy who hasn't lost himself through his wealth, status and his position in a very popular and competitive organisation.

Cena is a great worker and I understand why Vince and creative lean on him so much but THIS very fact is why he has divided the fandom so much. He is ALWAYS thrown in our face no matter what happens with him. All the time. Without fail. I still maintain that he needs some kind of lengthy break to heal whatever injuries are bothering him. It is no wonder that he was using 'roids because of the intense work load he carries on his shoulders. They really need to give John a break and let their other superstars shine and. The WWE will continue without John Cena for a few months.

Del Rio has the potential to be a great heel champion with shades of Rick Martel but if they bury him like they pretty much buried Miz's championship reign with another Cena title reign...I dunno. This is very much the case of Vince seeing the titles as nothing more than television props and if he isn't careful with this viewpoint it could turn away a lot of fans.

In case anyone case the man at ring side that Kelly Kelly kissed at Summer Slam is NHL defensemen Sheldon Souray, I guess he's her new boyfriend.

I didn't watch much of Raw, but I saw the ending, and I've been thinking this for some time. Can we please get a Pay Per View where Cena isn't contending for the title. I know he is the top dog of the WWE right now, but did Austin or The Rock get a title match every single pay per view when they were in their prime. I mean why not have CM Punk vs. Del Rio at a Pay Per View, or something other than Cena. Seriously, if Cena is WWE Champion (And can we please stop calling it "Undisputed Champion" already) at Wrestlemania against the Rock, that would seriously suck.

^ Yeah, that's the other thing that bugged me. Your title is no longer disputed if you have a recognized Champion and that is what Alberto Del Rio is. That drove me nuts last night lol. Alberto Del Rio is simply the WWE Champion now. There is no dispute any more.
