wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

I know they are still making money on them but I wouldnt mind 1 ppv every other month. This would give some storylines time to breath and grow without getting stuck in the hype machine for the next months ppv. Of course I would also love to see the return of the triple stack cage, but I think thats just me.

Yeah the triple stacked cage probably shouldn't come back and to be fair to David he actually dropped the title to Jeff Jarrett in that triple cage I think. He actually won the title on an episode of Thunder or Nitro. It wasn't at a PPV IIRC. That was just a painful run...besides which the Elimination Chamber is a good enough gimmicky cage.

^ Yeah I remember. It was really an awful idea for a movie that didn't do very well and was critically acclaimed at all, ah hell I'll say it was a major flop lol.

okay that cool was'nt really sure.

when do you thin Bll GOLDBERG will return to wrestling?

I was having a think earlier about how they could book the Summerslam main event between John Cena and CM Punk. First of all I think it's pointless if Cena goes over in the match, it will damage Punk and do nothing to get Cena over. It has been rumored that Cena is working banged up and may need some time off. It has also been rumored that a heel turn for Triple H is in the works, along with a feud with Punk. So with those things in mind, here is what I think should happen.

Throughout the match, Triple H should remain fair, until it looks like either man could win. If Cena goes for a pinfall, Triple H should fast count, if Punk goes for one, Triple H should slow count. Eventually this would lead to Cena confronting Triple H and declaring that he wants to do it "his way" (similar to MITB). But instead of Punk taking advantage from this, he'll simply sit back and allow Cena and Triple H to brawl, with Cena gaining the upper hand and throwing Trips from the ring. Triple H will then be taken by the medics from ringside with a kayfabe injury.

They will then resume the match as another referee comes down to officiate the match, where Punk will eventually get the win. The following Raw, Triple H will come out with a bandage or something to suggest a kayfabe injury and announce that he has "indefinitely suspended" John Cena. Punk should then come out and cut a promo declaring how Triple H inserted himself into that match with the intention to help Cena win, but then Cena refused to take any of his crap. Punk will then remark that despite him not being a fan of Cena, Cena was responsible for getting his suspension lifted and his title shot returned and the only fair thing to do is make sure Cena gets the same treatment. Triple H will argue that since Cena physically assaulted him, that he is liable for legal action and during this process he will remain inactive.

Eventually this will boil over and Punk and Triple H will go into full blown feud mode. Which will result in Cena returning after his time off a couple of months later.

I made a post on another forum but I wanted to do it here first...

Dated 08-11-11...And interesting perspective about Summer Slam...

WWE SummerSlam: 5 Matches We Should Be Seeing

1) Anyone Against The Miz

Agreed. :D

2) Dolph Ziggler Defending the United States Championship

Also agree.

3) Daniel Bryan vs. Wade Barrett

Again...yes.

4) Intercontinental Championship Match

Seriously...The WWE is dropping the ball. ;)

5) Kofi Kingston vs. Alberto Del Rio

Well duh.

As much as I love Kelly Kelly...I want to see Beth Phoenix win. :) "No more booty poppin'! " :p

:)

For some reason I have a bad feeling that Summer Slam is going to fall flat. I don't know why but things have been going really well for WWE over the last two months since they implemented this Punk storyline that I feel like they're going to screw it up some how.

If the Miz is not involved in a match, I have a feeling they're going to use him for a run in on some match.

@Timothy....Goldberg is done in my opinion. Hulk Hogan gave an interview earlier in the year which was posted in this thread a couple months ago that he said he thought Goldberg would make a good fit in Impact Wrestling. I don't think though that Goldberg would go anywhere near a company that employed Vince Russo.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Intercontinental and United States Championships being defended. It's been a while since they were both defended together on one of the bigger shows.

I'll be honest and say that I'm not really a fan of Wade Barrett and his hype as a perfomer mainly comes from WWE's love of big men and the IWC's belief that because the Nexus angle was so successful, that Wade Barrett is instantly a main eventer. Daniel Bryan can work great matches with a lot of people, but I think he would struggle with Barrett. Barrett has a lot of potential, but he isn't ready to be a main eventer and severly needs a new finisher (The Wasteland for those of you who aren't aware, is commonly used as a setup move for diving attacks in Lucha Libre promotions).

Kofi Kingston vs Alberto Del Rio has been done to death. Kofi desperately needs a new gimmick and Del Rio needs a fresh opponent. I like Kofi's in ring work and he is very talented, but he bores me as a performer. I also dislike the fact WWE always strap him when they need a transitional champion for the Intercontinental or United States Championships.

Who can The Miz possibly face at this juncture? All the big stars have prior engagements and putting him against somebody random will do neither for either man. I think Miz needs a character tweak. He needs to do something unexpected, like challenging Alberto Del Rio for the MITB case at Summerslam.

I think it would be a horrible idea to make Ryder's "Internet Championship" an official title. It's something that works well with Ryder's gimmick and WWE really does not need anymore titles when they can't seem to keep two of their current championships at a respectable level (Divas and Tag Team for those of you wondering).

Done correctly, Miz and Ryder could have an excellent feud. Based on Miz's past as a Reality TV star and Ryder's current gimmick as a Reality TV star wannabe, it could create a very interesting feud, with some celebrity involvement perhaps? It would raise the profile of both men.

In Punk's logic here, should Cena get a rematch after losing to CM Punk twice? Would Punk really push for Cena getting said rematch?
