wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

no I like cm punk. who's a paul fan just not a brock lesnar fan I my sorry he has no personality at all. even while he's over at ufc he's barelly there.

^ You just hate everything to do with Paul Heyman don't you? Brock was okay when he wasn't dropping people on their heads.

Behind maybe only, Kurt Angle. Brock Lesnar is quite possibly the most naturally gifted pro wrestler of all time. He rose to the top faster than anyone (including Angle) and within his under two year stint with the company won the WWE championship 3 times, the King Of The Ring and the Royal Rumble. Brock also headlined the very first Wrestlemania he was a part of.

^ It's funny you mention that Wrestlemania because that's also one of his most famous...if not THE famous botches ever!!! He ended up getting a severe concussion from that botch. I know he did the move several times in OVW but that one botch gets all the attention. I won't dispute his talent. Like timothy (oh Rao, I'm agreeing with timothy about something) he doesn't seem to have a very good personality. There was some reported heat in the back with guys and Brock and while he respected guys he didn't seem to go out of the way to make friends. Like he says in his book it was a business situation for him. He wasn't there to make it a career or life long friendships. I dunno. I respect his talent and what he's gone through but he seems pretty hollow. People swear he's intelligent as they come though. I guess he just doesn't show that part.

Yeah I agree fully, Brock isn't a well liked guy because he keeps himself to himself and can often say bizarre things without thinking (similar to Angle, but Angle is much more friendly and well liked and respected). In WWE, Brock stuck with Paul Heyman and didn't really bother to make friends with many of the other guys, save for Undertaker (but this seems to have soured since). The impression that Triple H has given of Brock in interviews, during the time Brock was involved in a lawsuit with WWE, suggests he wasn't interested with the wrestling business and used his talent to gain exposure and make money, nothing else. This might just be a result of bitterness between them though.

What happened to Brock at WM19 could have easily been a lot worse. He was very lucky not to suffer a neck injury, a near 300lb man crashing headfirst into a firm ring mat (and the side of Kurt Angle too) is a formula for disaster. I'm glad Brock ceased performing the stunt (even though the only times he'd used it prior was, like you say, in OVW).

If Brock were to retire from competitive sports, WWE would instantly take him back. Brock has a really marketable look, is an extremely talented man and can work with several different kinds of people. Motivated, he's one of the hardest workers in the business, but then again, it was this work rate that burned him out in wrestling.

But yeah, Brock comes across as being a smart guy, but I'd say his success has got to his head a little and as a result his diplomatic skills have sufffered. Some of the crap he said after he beat Frank Mir at UFC 100 demonstrates this.

We know that Vince loves that type of build. I'm sure if they put their minds to it and put together something worth while that Brock would indeed come back. (I'm still stunned I agreed with timothy about something).

Anyone a bit miffed with Sin Cara's choice in finisher? In the CMLL days he did something he called "La Mistica" which was an armdrag and headscissors takeover transitioned into a Fujiwara armbar with facebuster. Now for some reason he does the arm and headscissors take over with less revolutions and ends it with an armdrag whilst the opponent does a facebuster bump without reason.

yeah I was hoping for more high flyin then ground pounding. what gives over all it was'nt a bad match.

I don't follow wrestling at all, but this was linked on a site I read and it's very funny. I don't like McMahon, but it's cool that he lets his writers do something like that.

^ Yep. That's what we have been talking about. Ben Maller who is a sports talk show host for Fox Sports Radio also picked it up on his news website. Heh.

Ah, yes. I didn't read anything anyone said before posting it, I just skimmed the last page to see if the video was posted already. ;)

That. Was. Awesome.

Hopefully this is a step back away from "PG" and towards more realistic angles. I know we're not getting the next Attitude era any time soon, but I think we've all had enough of The Adventures of Super Cena for a long while to come.

Anything to knock Cena down a few pegs is great in my book. Don't get me wrong, I respect the work Cena does for the company, but this whole "super-cena" reputation he's been getting is a valid one and is close to ruining the entertainment factor of the company. The thing about the title match with the Rock at next year's wrestlemania is getting annoying and I hope to god he doesn't hold the title all the way up to that point. It will make everything else meaningless.

As for the rest of Raw, I really didn't see much of it, but I really liked the "Tornado" match with Miz, Riley, Swagger and Mysterio. Yeah Mysterio has gotten up close to "Super-Cena" levels, but that was a very entertaining and exciting match. It was quickly paced, had some great action and just one of the more interesting types of matches I've seen in a WWE product in a long time.

don't forget cena and the wwe had the year of hell last year. and hopefully we will get rid of the dam lap top genneral manager. and have michael cole come out legitable as gm. and if cm punk does leave will that finally be the end of the nexus?

I felt sorry for poor Cena in the ring during Punks long talk. He couldnt leave and walk out past Punk. He couldnt stand up and start agreeing with Punk. He had to keep selling the hit looooooong after he should have left. In any event an excellent worked shoot by Punk.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: CM Punk is amazing. Yes, it's a work, but I've watched it 5 times now and the first 3 times were with my jaw on the floor.
