wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

If Chavo asked for his release then that makes sense as to why the WWE didn't make him a road agent or put him on the booking team, or make him a trainer. I guess Chavo feels that he can still contribute to a company with his skills and athleticism. I still have to get into Ring of Honor. Have heard and read nothing but great things about it.

@timothy...ROH was bought by the Sinclair Broadcasting Group last month. They own a bunch of television and radio stations I believe but I don't know much else about them.

A great place to start is with their "Better than our best 06" show. IIRC it was on the same week in Chicago as WM22, this card was the superior outing. Every match on the card was strong, particulary the Lance Storm vs Bryan Danielson and Homicide vs Colt Cabana in a streetfight matches.

I'm not so sure about the current product, obviously they are working with a major transition and have no tv spot as of yet. But ROH is a quality wrestling promotion and features some of the best talent in the world (not just American). One of the best matches ROH has promoted was Kenta Kobashi vs Samoa Joe, its not flashy but its incredibly stiff and the crowd is solidly into the match throughout. By the end it looks like they've beaten the absolutely shit out of each other!

ROH is a fantastic show and if you can find any of there ppv dvd's I highly recomend that you do. In my own opinion ROH is the best parts of both wwe and IW.

don't forget RAW tonight...

I just can't get into RoH. The crowds and online fans just seem like a big circle jerk at times, and it's really quite off-putting.

Interested to see which X Division wrestlers return at the Impact tapings tomorrow. Lethal's already ruled himself out and Creed is with WWE, so it won't be them. Daivari and Sonjay Dutt are involved in TNA's All Wheels Wrestling project, so they might be a chance.

It helps to know if I've been drinking a lot.

Heh.

ROH is exactly the kind of promotion I like to see. It's a strong, distinct alternative to WWE and TNA. I like WWE, and I even like TNA (sometimes), but ROH provides the full-course meal of sorts that is the reason why I'm still a fan of the business after so many years. I can check out something depending on my mood.

I will watch RAW in the morning. Recent things I am liking...Kelly Kelly with the Divas title...R-Truth's antics and anything with The Miz. :D I am hoping they do something epic with Batista...I mean Mason Ryan.

Am I the only one not liking R-Truth at all? :( I love the Batista chants during Mason Ryan matches. He pretty much is a clone of the guy. Smallville if it did a season eleven probably would have signed him up to play someone! LOL.

^
That would be epic! I like R-Truth...I think the whole crazy thing will get old soon and they will have to find something serious for him.

what is with mark henry starting things with big show. I thought they were doing a fued with del rio. I loved the evan bourne sin cara match fantastic. is it me or does sin cara music sound a little like a sith intro from star wars.

loved the ddp, booker t and shawn michaels thing that was just fantastic. loved the plug on the monday night wars. and then miz of course is in the money in the bank match. how many of you think he can win it a second time?

If they're still building a program for him like I think they are for Summer Slam I think he can win another. CM Punk won it twice after all I believe and cashed in both times to become champion.

well cm punk got cut off tonight which I thought was fantastic. I all so loved how he put a pop in for ROH. he mention a john somebody I did'nt catch the last name but it was during his rant. and what is the fourth law?

That might have been the best Raw ending since the night the Rock came back. They've already done so much more for Money in the Bank than they ever did for Capital Punishment. Should be a very interesting Pay Per View.

Capital Punishment seemed to be a "fluff" PPV or write off the amount that went into it. They probably didn't care about it too much. Money in The Bank was a pretty big deal last year and seems like it will be their summer set up PPV.

Okay that was an awesome ending to Raw and perhaps the best promo from any wrestler in the last five years. If anyone actually thinks this is real and not a gimmick I shake my head at them. It's true his contract is up but I really can't see Punk doing what he said he is gonna do. This is merely part of a program/gimmick. He'll either be written off television for a while until they do resign him or he's already resigned and this part of a future build up. Either way I don't think that was a real shoot.

That was one hell of a promo. If anything, Punk just solidified himself as the top heel in the business. If WWE had their talent delivers promos at this level, then they'd attract minimal criticism. Its not because of its shoot (worked) nature or because its like the "Attitude era", its because its believable.

CM Punk has a tremendous natural acting ability and in some ways, this is probably the reason he's stayed in a main event position in the world of the size obsessed WWE. Its just that WWE haven't utilised his unique set of skills until now. Outside of WWE, this speech reminded me of the one he cut on Raven back in ROH.

Top quality RAW tonight, some solid in ring action and a killer promo to close the show. It remains to be seen how this story pans out at MITB.

I thought the program against Randy Orton was terrific. Some of his best WWE work. They used him all wrong with the Straight Edge Society stuff when he was champion, that was not the way to use him. All that time building him up as a face with the chase, then turn him heel was wrong.

Thoughts about RAW...

CM Punk was actually speaking alot of fans chatter and it was great...I don't think he is going anywhere...this seemed like a move to thrust him into the spotlight as a heel(bigger heel than he is)....we shall see.

Saw a Botch sign behind Miz.

Sin Cara is pretty sloppy...hope he improves but I am not seeing anything special.

Kelly Kelly Vs Nikki Bella...someone is gonna tap!? I wish it was me. :D

Nice seeing DDP. :bolian:

Pretty good show.

[edit] I forgot...I loved CM Punk mentioned Brock Lesnar. :D I wish he would come back to WWE. :bolian:
