wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

that's cool no prob. on kurt vs jeff one more time tonight and kurt announced that he is trying out for the 2012 olympic wrestling team. go for it kurt. good start so far.
 
I've tried to watch TNT but could never really get into it. Love WWE but havent been able to watch it since watching it live as you see all the fake moves when watching on telly plus the atmosphere is completely different. Kinda gone off it all as its too story based now
 
is it because I am such a huge fan. and go to the live shows when they come to dallas. they have a live show coming next month a house show I am looking forward to it.

smackdown tonight yes.
 
I remember laughing aloud when Dave Meltzer stated that the reasoning behind WWE branded their audience the "WWE Universe" was because they felt "fan" was a derogative term.
 
well smackdown is shaping up to be a good show and we've had some great matches so far. and I loved how christian called shameus strawberry shortcake hopefully that will catch on. all so I like how shameus calls every one fella.

cool edge will be on the season finalle of sanctuary probably as a vampire no doubt.


thank god this ppv will be over I am so sick of these presidential dream segments. capital punishment better be good.

is it me or is christian skin colour more gold than tan, and how white can a person be really shameus should go see a tanning booth or something damn.

@Captain M. Yep I remember reading something to that too. Basically it seems like Vince is wanting to totally restructure and rebrand old school terms and wrestling into more television like terms. For instance the rumors that no one is allowed to call the belts titles any more, they're supposed to be called props. That's funny and sad at the same time.

[edit] If someone could capture old school wrestling...they would be a hit...IMPACT! isn't doing it and the ship has sailed on the WWE.
 
As long as they can be called like "WWE belt" and what not I have no problem...not calling them "titles" is like whatever...but if they can't at least call them "belts" then I have a problem and it is overboard.

That was actually a good show from TNT...er...A. Aries is a good addition, and I wish Kash wasn't such a prick - that's the only thing that's stopped them from hiring him in the past.

Sting going nuts was interesting too; he showed some real fire, and had a Joker-like thing going on which was compelling.
 
They are just supposed to call them belts back stage or when talking with creative or with Vince. Not on television.

The funny thing about Sting is that they've given him lines straight from Joker from "The Dark Knight" before. This has been pointed out in many humorous segments on Botchamania lol.

Speaking of Botchamania...just finished watching 177, I absolutely loved the ending!!! Maffew's endings are almost as good (sometimes better) than the actual episode. So let me get this straight...Mr. Anderson nut shots (an admitted illegal move in wrestling) Sting in front of the referee who was staring right at the move but doesn't do anything and lets Anderson hit his finishing move and capture the title? No wonder people think wrestling is fake. They don't even pay attention to their own "rules".

^ Which Sting worked into his promo against Hogan, suggesting it was a conspiracy. IIRC, the referee is Bischoff's real-life son. So rather than being a "botch", it is quite possibly a storyline.
