wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

I thought it was a very entertaining PPV that was nonetheless almost completely devoid of surprises (except for Bret Hart showing up--I loved that and had been hoping for such a moment). It wasn't anything remarkable. I'd say the best match was Orton/Christian. I think it was just a very solid, by-the-books PPV that delivered mostly good matches but nothing that really blew my hair back.

I'll take that over a bomb any day.
 
Glad to see that Bret actually did make an appearance and participated in the match, and that Eve got her revenge for Cole's behavior towards her and the DIVAS. Sucks to be Christian. I knew that it would be a problem when Orton got drafted over to Smackdown. They're two matches though seem to be great.


There will be no funeral for Savage as per his own wishes. A private ceremony for family is going to be held though. Kind of makes sense, he seemed like a very private man.

That was thoughtful of the Macho Man to stop the rapture from happening... not that it would have affected me in the slightest.
 
Someone on the Botchamania fan page on facebook posted a picture of All Stars Macho Man delivering a flying elbow to Jesus lol.

My cable's out again...landlord is waiting for a call back from the cable company but it's a holiday here today so looks like no Raw for me :(
 
off topic:what the hell is victoria day? and is that why we have a two week break from dr.who as well?

Um...Timothy...do you actually read posts in this thread? Jetfire posted a wikipedia link describing what Victoria Day is. Sigh.
 
Yeah, I guess it's similar to President's Day except there's not any kind of pomp and circumstance. It's just an extra day off for people.

Bret is rumored to be making a guest appearance tonight.

evan bourne has been around now for three years I like him.wish they would bring the cruiser weight title back...
 
The WWE sure loves squashing Bourne, and the funny thing is they used Swagger to do it this time. This seems like a good Raw so far. Great opening segment with Bret. I really don't know what they're doing with R-Truth right now.
 
I'm just sayin he debuts, and is off TV for 6 weeks. He re-debuts, and is then off TV for another 6 weeks. He re-debuts... etc...

I really wanted to like him when he first showed up. I REALLY wanted to.

But, now I don't bother paying attention when he shows up.
 
^ It depends on Vince's ego. That was a decent tribute. Sigh. If WWE wanted to continue this Cole thing they could have revealed him as the GM all along.Imagine something like this: The GM sound effect goes off and Josh Matthews goes to read the email but Cole comes out and delivers a promo like this:

"Can I have your attention please?" (boos) "You don't need to read that email Josh. You don't need to read that email because I'm the one who has been writing them!!! Yes...I'm the Anonymous Raw General Manager. I've been the one behind the scenes running things around here. Lawler, you might've made me kiss your foot last night, but I am going to have the last laugh. I was the Voice of the WWE...but now I'm even more powerful as the Raw GM!!!"

Then you'd have maybe a run of five more months of Heel Cole.Instead they had him grovel and apologize. What a bad resolution to an overly long program.
