wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

You would think Bischoff/Zybysko was a great match.

It was entertaining given the energy of the card at that time, but it really hasn't held up very well.

Speaking of Bret, I watched a WCW match of his the other day while eating lunch, and I still think his WCW run had some good moments going for it. He won the title in a great tournament, had that amazing match with Benoit and good runs with Sting and Diamond Dallas Page (who I will always maintain was a good worker). It was just a run several thousand miles below his WWE run.

I caught a couple of the weekly TNA PPVs. I wouldn't mind getting my hands on the entire run and watching them from start to finish (over a very, very long period of time--I can't imagine being able to watch more than one or two of those a week, and I don't watch a ton of wrestling in a given week anyway).

The Flair/Roode promo was good. Flair still has it in spades, and Roode did a fantastic job keeping up.

Bret's WCW tenure was okay but probably nothing compared to what he was told it could have been. I'm sure that he was promised A list treatment, an immediate World Title shot, etc. It's funny that now Bret says that he regrets going there. The blow up with Vince was just too painful and immediate to ignore though I guess. It's not like he had other alternatives. He could have maybe gone to Japan...but I don't think he would have done that.

He had a few good matches. The most notable being the classic Owen Hart Tribute Match with Benoit you mentioned Barnaclelapse. I was excited when he won the United States Title. I would have liked to have seen him work with Hogan and win the title from him though. Everyone wanted that match and it never happened the way it should have.

Yeah stupid Starcade match. Bret has never blamed Goldberg for that stiff kick either which shows how much class the Hitman has.

He was one of my favorites growing up and it was cool he was in the first Spider-Man movie. :(

He was also one of my favorites as a kid, either as a heel or face. At least now...maybe he's reunited with Liz? You gotta feel bad for his new wife though, I think this was their one year wedding anny.

Regardless of the rumors and Vince's feelings about Randy...it would be nice to see a tribute on RAW. :)

It's hard to say if Vince is smiling or not. Despite that urban myth about Steph...he did do wonderful things for his company. Yeah there should be a title card up before Smackdown goes on the air. Raw will most likely do something.

watching smackdown no mention or tribute of macho man. we'll see what happens on raw with that. and I am sick of all christian bashing by michael give it a rest all ready.
I lost the last half hour of tna due to power fialure does any one know what happened on tna this thursday?

okay saw MR. anderson face paint he looks like a bad version of the ultimate warrior. <R.I.P all so like the revamp of there web site very cool. the wwe needs a revamp of there web site as well.

Actually Mr. Anderson was dressed as the 90's Sting. WWE just did a revamp of their website like three weeks ago. Michael Cole will stop bashing face wrestlers when he's no longer a heel commentator.

Over the Limit is Sunday. Perhaps being their first live show since his death they will acknowledge him in some way.

He was one of the giants of my childhood, so I'm a bit sad about it. Back then, pro wrestling was literally a living comic book in which the best wrestlers and matches were like showdowns against a cosmic background. As I get older, pro wrestling becomes increasingly smaller in stature. Savage was one of the greatest from that time in my childhood. He personified that larger-than-life stature that quite frankly just doesn't exist anymore. That's not nostalgia talking.

It's terrible, but I've gotten fairly numb to these guys dying. At this point most of my favorite wrestlers from childhood have passed on. I think there's something like five or six left. You have to wonder what this does to guys like Bret Hart or Roddy Piper. All their friends are dying, and most of them don't even make it to fifty.

Hogan's been tweeting about Randy's death. He seems pretty torn up about it. He tweeted that they had just started talking to one another again after ten years of silence. He was convinced they were on their way to reestablishing a dialogue between the two of them. Piper seems torn up as well. It can't be a good thing for these guy to see their friends die around them. Savage's death was really tragic as well.
