Just rewatched all of Edge's speech (missed the first half of it) and thought it was tremendous lol. Yeah I didn't see his mom there. My guess is that Christian is going to win the Battle Royal and face Del Rio at Extreme Rules and that Del Rio will win the title.

I'd like Christian to win (again I'd like to be proven wrong), but if he does I don't see it being anything more than a transition to Del Rio. I like Del Rio, but I really don't like the idea of him carrying a championship so soon.
I'm glad Jericho will be coming back soon. I wouldn't be surprised if they send him to Smackdown to fill in the huge lack of strong faces left by Edge's sudden retirement.
Booker T on commentary was great. His stuff about/with Austin at WM 27 was great.

the best part was how the corre was taken out by each other that was great. Big show taking out ezekial was fantastic I am sorry it cost him though. and cole was trying to get back on jack good side agin. Booker t is great on commentry all way have been. I am glad he's back in the wwe. before the match edge was talking to a spanish girl who was that? she was hot !!
I still think one of the best spots in that Battle Royal was Cole taking Mysterio's 619! That was a great spot and Cole really sold it. I did find it weird that Cole was cheering on Swagger like the incident didn't happen on Monday. I suppose that is what is going to happen when you tape Smackdown a day after Raw.
yeah I find it weird that smackdown is a recorded show on tuesday where raw is a live program. I know they travel a lot for house shows which sometimes are more fun than raw or smackdown or even ppv's. I mean look what happened to wade and john in a cage match which was a house show. I've been to smackdown live they don't change anything from the televised event. which is cool. I wish ufc or TNA would tour some here in dallas,

This is TNA so everything that you WANT to happen...most likely WON'T happen. I just hope "Lockdown" is a better PPV than the joke that "Victory Road" was last month.
According to this, The Rock will be appearing on Raw after Extreme Rules since it's in Miami for a "Birthday Celebration" and a precursor to Wrestlemania 28. Does anyone else think this whole thing is just plain ridiculous? What the hell they gonna do? Bust the Rock out every few months for sporadic Raw's so he can insult Cena some more?

I wouldn't be shocked if we see Rock wrestle BEFORE WM 28, and there's even a part of me that thinks we might get that Rock/Cena match sooner than WM 28. I mostly doubt it, but the sneaking feeling is there.
A small part of me secretly hopes Angle throws in a few stiff shots on Hardy when they wrestle. Something has to knock some damn sense into him. Angle might be something of an occasional fuck-up with his DUI's and such, but I'd venture to say the guy has a much better grip on his life than Hardy. At least Angle shows up to work and is ready to try and put on the best match of the card.
The Hardy/Sting match was a travesty, and I don't blame Sting for that a bit. He's not the wrestler he was twenty years ago, but he's still capable of going out there and giving the audience a solid, entertaining match. Hardy completely ruined that, and I can't believe the guy still has a job. That's one of the reasons why TNA is all potential and horrible, horrible execution.

While I certainly agree that money is tight for a lot of people and that there are just too many causes in need of funds right now, I still found some of the comments left by visitors via their Facebook account to be pretty disgusting and pathetic. Sometimes I just don't like wrestling by virtue of some of the people I get lumped in with by way of our common interest. I know that's stupid, but sometimes it just irks me in spite of myself.

Both companies are at fault for employing Jeff while he's been going through various problems. I believe Vince released him two years ago because of his addiction to pain killers or whatnot. It was something like that. TNA still thinks they can get something out of Jeff. Frankly I think he's done as a performer and that's even if he does go into and completes rehab. It's sad really.
I was amusing at one of the stories in there that stated TNA is wanting to rebrand and focus on the word IMPACT! Sounds like they want to try and build their marketing around their weekly show which seems logical but they'll find some way to screw it up.

I don't know if they're copying Vince's plan of rebranding, the article did say that Dixie has been against such a move. The Network thing would seem like a Vince Russo idea.
Shane is working for another company right now. Why would he compete against his own father? No. Not gonna happen.
I think Vince's re-branding will be barely noticeable. Not like he's paying everyone to use the phrase "WWE Universe" or something.
The WWE thing is purely a corporate thing and nothing really to do with the two shows. Everyone pretty much already refers to it as WWE anyways.
