wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

My logic concerning Sting is sound...what I didn't clarify is that I would have Sting defect like six or eight months after fighting them. The reasoning being that's basically what they did with all of WCW's faces. Sting also joined the Wolfpack under the logic that his friend Luger did. The Wolfpack may still have been a face group but they were still considered nWo, the faction that he'd been fighting for a long time. I dunno. I think I would have had Sting join and give a Scorpion Death Drop to Goldberg or something.

Regarding Bret Hart. When he first came into WCW he was playing both sides. I still remember the awful theme music he debuted with. You couldn't even tell who the hell it was when he walked out!! What do they do with Bret right off the bat? They book him as a special guest referee in the Zbysko/Bischoff match. Ugh. I remember thinking WTF. At the time everyone, including fans was expecting Bret to join the nWo. I remember the Nitro after the Screwjob happened they all came out waving mini Canadian flags and signing Oh Canada!

I liked Bret forming nWo Elite or aka nWo 2000 with Jarrett, Hall and Nash. The incident at Starcade though ended his career of course and the rest is history. It's sad what went down with Bret in WCW. They basically killed his career. He's essentially admitted now (as recently as the twitter Q and A I mentioned above) that his single greatest mistake was signing in WCW).

Spoilers from the taped Impact are out and I'll just say looks like another pathetic show. There's a redesigned TNA World Title though that Sting introduces. Also looks like Jeff has been pulled from all upcoming shows and his court day was delayed again.

Didn't Jericho and/or Benoit before they went WWF bound have some good matches with Brett when he came to WCW? I vaguely remember, although I do remember Brett's NWO being Silver and Black.

chris j. did before he came over to the wwf . also loved his fued with chyna wish she would come back . would love to see her and beth phoenix get it on .

Chyna's wrestling career is long done. Last I saw of her was on Celebrity Rehab.

Jericho hated working with her according to his book, he viewed the Intercontinental Championship as the silver-lining.

I think there was a Benoit/Hart match at the unofficial WCW Owen Hart tribute show. But, I don't think Jericho ever had a match with Bret one-on-one. I know one of Jericho's dreams was to be the Tag-Team Champions with Owen Hart.

Yeah, Bret's treatment in WCW was pretty horrendous.

Yeah, that's another thing that sucks about Bret's time in WCW - how many potential great matches never happened because the people booking saw so many of the best talents as too far down the mid card to work with 'main eventers'. So we got Bret wasting time in matches against guys like Luger, Piper, and Macho Man instead of wrestling classics with Eddy Guerrero or Chris Jericho. I'm appalled that he never got to wrestle Jericho. They would have had an amazing match. I put this record of his WCW matches on Youtube. Some commenter said it's inaccurate, but I'm not sure. Apparently he wrestled Dean Malenko at one point, but I don't remember it.

Admiral Young, I totally forgot that Sting was in the red and black nWo. Just goes to show how forgettable it was. I think your chronology is a bit off. The nWo came out with Canadian flags before Bret had ever showed up in the company. Bischoff and Hogan called him "a knockout kind of guy" and bragged that he was joining the nWo after he had "passed the initiation" (an allusion to him punching out Vince McMahon). I saw that as just setting up the nWo as dicks who were being presumptuous and arrogant. I was sure Bret would later come out, say they're full of shit thinking he'd join them, and become their number one enemy along with Flair. He and Flair did beat down the nWo together one time, but I don't know why he didn't stay affiliated with Flair.

Instead, we got him as guest referee doing a lame 'screw the good guy' WWF rip-off angle and I agree, it was the beginning of a very long, very depressing string of bad booking choices involving Bret Hart in WCW. As Bret has said in an interview, his WCW career was actually starting to turn around when he had his career-ending injury. He was starting to get booked in more interesting matches with guys like Kidman, and was part of a decent world title tournament that culminated in a WCW title victory at WCW's first Toronto pay per view - WCW Mayhem. I also agree that his nWo faction with Jarrett and Co was all right, but I still think he should have started as part of the opposition to the nWo and stayed that way.

Satyrquaze, Bret fought Benoit twice, once on Nitro as part of the nWo, and as you mentioned, in a tribute match for Owen Hart. He also tried to recruit Benoit into the nWo at one point. Rejecting Bret's offer (saying all he cares about is The Four Horsemen) got Benoit some of the loudest cheers I ever heard him get during his WCW tenure. Both Hart and Benoit matches were good ones, but I think the first one was mucked up a bit because Bret was a heel, so he did lame cheating stuff. It was unusual for a 'mid carder' like Benoit to wrestle a 'main eventer' like Hart, but I guess the bookers made an exception because their styles were similar in some ways, they had the Canadian connection, and Bret was a fan of Benoit's work.

Yeah, I don't think Bret wrestled Jericho back in WCW because Chris was considered to be firmly in the middle of the mid-card (he couldn't even get a proper angle with Goldberg back then ), whereas Benoit (at the time) was at the top of the mid-card, on the cusp of being a main-eventer.

Course, the day Benoit won the WHC was his last day of employment with WCW.

I don't know if they are setting it up for Cena to come away big at Wrestlemania...but I want The Miz to destroy Cena. I am sure The Rock being there will have an impact...but I want Miz to come away big...cause he's AWESOME! :p

you're sick . YOu like the miz why . I mean sure he's gotten better as a wrestler but his character is F&&$*&^ annoying . but he did do a fast one on john ceana this monday . I hope josh comes up in the company he's a great anouncer .He's the only one from the original tough enough that's still there that say's something. now daniel bryan needs to do the smart thing get his rematch at wrestlemaina . and wrestlemania is realy raw top heavy I thought they were going to shifr to making smackdown the more dominate show.

I don't know if they are setting it up for Cena to come away big at Wrestlemania...but I want The Miz to destroy Cena.

You must not be part of the 2-5yr old demographic. :p

I am sure The Rock being there will have an impact...but I want Miz to come away big...cause he's AWESOME! :p

Just ask him. Course he stole his whole gimmick from Chris Jericho.

I remember Mike aka The Miz from Real World & Tough Enough and I am glad he is doing well in the WWE. I like Cena...but he needs to re-invent his whole act...I mean as Obi put it he is a Eminem doppelgänger...he needs to lose big and come back with black hair, a new theme song and a few new moves. :p

Jericho tweeted that he's returning to WWE tomorrow night. Maybe he's just appearing on Smackdown to promote his book/"Dancing with the Stars"?

I've read that Meltzer supposedly has said that Jericho has recorded an interview about the Taker vs. HHH match (Similar to what HBK has done I guess).

Ah, that makes sense. It took such a long time for The Undertaker and Jericho to finally have a one on one match. I was disappointed they didn't have a big feud leading to a Wrestlemania where Jericho could be another challenger in the streak series.

@Timothy it's amusing you hate the Miz so much, that means he's over with you as a heel and doing his job. Just like the other two heels you hate, Vicky and Michael Cole.

I hope The Miz crushes Cena at Wrestlemania if only to have the Age of Awesomeness continue. I will give this to Cena, I'm looking forward to his Wrestlemania entrances. He knows how to make a great entrance. I think my favorite was the Gangster theme one, followed by the Army of Cena's.

Also the Young John Cena from Raw was played by some Youtube sensation named Matty B.

I can't watch TNA. Just can't. That opening segment was horrific. Their production looks second rate. They're promos are long and boring. All that money and that's what they give their fans? Pathetic.

I just like tna been with it from the begining I'll stay till it gets better . but I wish they would get rid of pope . who is samoa joes new masked partner do you know?
