wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

Maffew's shown plenty of ECW stuff...quite a bit actually. My favorite is the Botchamania that showed early heel Dudley Boys. I laughed my ass off over how hot the crowd was for them. There was a fan that wanted to go at Bubba Ray...ahhhhh old school ECW. Memories.

Well there was predictions of Melina's release as far back as last year. Apparently Melina really personifies the term "Diva" and as a result has constantly been involved in backstage disputes. Melina is alleged to have encouraged John Morrison to act cold towards Trish Stratus when Melina felt that she was left out of Wrestlemania in favour of Stratus. There are also many rumours surrounding Melina's relationship with Dave Batista back in 2005 and how that caused friction in the locker room.

Chris Masters' release is something that isn't much of a shock. Since his return to the WWE he has been left in the lower midcard role, perhaps as a result of his indiscretions (Masters was suspended twice under the wellness policy) and attitude in his first run with the company.

Vladimir Kozlov just didn't cut it, which is a shame because he's actually quite a talented individual with a legitimate sports background. WWE rushed him into the main event picture and when he didn't take off, they gave up on him. Apart from a comedy stint in a tag team with Santino, Kozlov hasn't done anything of notice in his run with the company.

WWE missed a big opportunity with David Hart Smith. A young guy with a second generation background and superior training, Smith should have been the Orton of this era. WWE made the mistake of splitting up the Hart Dynasty far too early, as a result both Smith and Kidd lost all momentum they had previously acquired.

I think Gail Kim will eventually return to wrestling, but I agree with you Admiral Young, her leaving WWE is probably down to her upcoming marriage and the desire to get off the road.

Agreed on David Hart Smith. So far, that's the one cut that saddens me a little. He had potential for miles and could have been something special. There was just little-to-no confidence in him. I think it's true that a wrestler can find a way to beat that lack of confidence from the office, but there's only so much a person can do to that end.

chris should try impact wrestling maybe teaming up with matt morgan. eric young is nuts that plain simple nuts after last week.

I've just been thinking about what use my interest in professional wrestling actually serves. I've been a fan of pro wrestling since I was a kid, which wasn't a LONG time ago as I'm only in my early 20's. But I've been a "smark" from very early on and developed an in-depth interest of the business itself.

I've never liked the "IWC", I feel a lot of self-professed smarks just listen to everything the dirt sheet writers and "experts" say. Many smarks dislike Cena because they've been told the reasons why to dislike him. I remember back in 2004-2005 when Cena was first gaining momentum towards his main event push. People were really behind him because he was fresh, his wrestling ability didn't seem to matter and everyone just went with it. Then the dirtsheets began to mention Cena's unconvincing punches and his steadily declining character and that was it.

I personally dislike the way Cena is pushed. He is not pushed based upon popularity as much as he is pushed based upon money. Cena's merchandise sales make WWE a tremendous amount of income and despite the fact a change of character or at least refinement could very well attract more attention to WWE, they are reluctant to do anything. Because of this the Cena character alienates many older WWE fans (and the younger ones too, because they do eventually grow up too) and WWE loses viewers.

When WWE pulls off an excellent storyline (such as the Cena/McMahon/Punk/Triple H one currently) it re-engages interest from not just the alienated fans but it also attracts the attention of the entertainment media. It makes me wonder sometimes if WWE thinks that they can get by with occasionly creating a top storyline before inevitably going back to Cena. Everytime they do it, it results in loss of interest from fans of the product. If Cena were to win the unificiation match at Summerslam, I reckon Raw ratings will start to decline.

I have a lot of knowledge about professional wrestling and how the business works, but I am by no means an expert. I am a fan of the business who has developed a unique perspective on the product and who refuses to share the same hive opinions of the IWC. I encourage any fan to do the same.

gail is a total hottie. I'll miss her I am hoping she'll only be gone for a few month's and comeback for vengece in december.

I'd like to see Gail Kim & Kozlov in ROH...they could use more talent...I would rather see ROH succeed than TNA. Ugh.
