WTF moments in Star Trek

You want pure kink, just watch Dax and Worf. The only Trek couple whose wedding night involved the groom being beaten up by the wedding party.

Maybe their wedding night was even kinkier.

(Dax and Worf's quarters, now that he has moved in. Dax, still dressed in her leather wedding gown.)
Dax: Oh, Worf... I've got a surprise for you. Come here.

(Dax brings out a metallic paddle, Klingon painstick, whip, hot candle wax, and a leash)
Dax: Mmmm... where to begin. Who's my little par'machkai?

Even though it was Mirror-Lorca, the Prime Universe crew saw nothing untoward about displaying a sentient alien's skeleton like a trophy?

Was he a Gorn surgeon in his spare time?

One, how would they know it was real and not a recreation? Two, skeletons appears in various academic locations all the time, and used for non-creepy reasons.

It wasn’t so much an office, but a weaponry R&D lab, so wasn’t any more out of place than all of the crazy weapons in there.

SNW takes place just over a year later, right? They know who the Gorn are then, and people like Laan have known a long time.
She's the only person to ever survive. So no, no one else knew.

Her record that Pike was reading even said 'unconfirmed first contact'

When she uses the name Gorn no one seems to know who they are.
