WTF Is Wrong About Ensigne Tyler?

Phew! I was reading your post, and I wasn't sure you were going to realize it was tongue in cheek. Glad you finally realized it.
Not tongue in cheek so much as silly, as I said. Phew!
The whole point of even discussing race (especially as it relates to 24th century) is meaningless.
No more meaningless than discussing anything else related to Star Trek.
Worf isn't even black; he's a Klingon. Michael Dorn is black, but that shouldn't matter because we're not supposed to see him as black.
Where did anyone other than you said Worf was black then?

You are the one who used Worf as an example of a black man having a relationship with a white woman.

You use Worf as an example of a black man then say Worf isn't black?

Is this you being tongue in check again because if not you're just arguing with yourself.

I'm late to this party, but I do wish that more had been done to show Geordi in relationships. Even LeVar Burton has talked about how TPTB emasculated his character. I was never a fan of Leah Brahms, but she would've been better than nothing, which is largely what Geordi got on the show, in the movies, and even in the books.

It took him nearly 20 years to have a new lover since Aquiel (in the novel Paths of Disharmony), which he someone inexplicably forgets what she looks like in the following book Indistinguishable from Magic as he chases Leah Brahm's again. That made absolutely no sense. A guy like Geordi is going to remember every women he's been intimate with since he's had so few of them. To his credit, he does get Brahms by the end of Magic, but we'll see how long that pairing lasts.

I'll confess: I had a crush on Leah Brahms after watching Booby Trap back then :).

Well, Geordi did have a crush in that girl they tried to say murdered a Klingon in "Aquiel"... if that counts.

We don't know that he was with so few women. It's possible he's the type of guy who didn't kiss and tell, and was shagging plenty of ladies on the side.

The cruel irony of TNG is that perhaps the hottest love interest on the entire show went to fucking Wesley

Yeah, how true.

I would've liked to have seen more of Ensign Sonya Gomez and maybe Teri Hatcher's Transporter Stand-In #238C

Mmmm, Ensign Robin Lefler.

And Lt Robinson, who's quarters happened to be room #69 on Deck 8 section 6. ;) That outrageous Okuna, he know what he doing.

I found it interesting that in the version of the future that Picard experienced in "All Good Things", Geordi was the one who was seemingly-happily married (to Leah) and had children. (And then there was Data and all his cats. :D)
