Writing Challenges

Hey guys. Just curious. For the writing challenges, would going monthly ever be considered? Or is that too much?

If it had a word limit, perhaps, like 500.

It used to be monthly, but it was changed to allow people more time to work on their entries, as well as encourage more people to participate. The monthly challenge was difficult for some to fit into their work/life schedules.

I was going to write what Cobalt already did. We even had a period without any regular challenge because participation in the monthly one had become so low.
It seems that the 2 months period works pretty well in terms of participation so I'm wary of changing it.
