Wrestling (AEW, WWE, etc)

Anyone going to the cinema to watch Crown Jewel? It was cheap and I thought it would be fun
 
Crown Jewel had good wrestling, one of the better in-ring WWE shows of the year. I still find the whole Saudi Arabia part of it a bit hard to take, but what can you do. Pretty impressed that Goldberg pulled off the spear off the stage and managed not to injure himself or his opponent again.

It's kind of exciting.
 
Charlotte (rightly so) thought the whole title swapping thing was terrible and made the belts and her look weak and so refused to do the segment as planned.
I wish WWE would either just unify the belts or name them differently. You would never see the men belts treated like this.
The beginning of Smackdown was awesome though. I would have continued it and had Brock interfere in every match and segment afterwards. :)
 
Its 2003 repeating itself. And after that interview he had with Stone Cold on the broken skull sessions
 
Royal Rumble was pretty terrible, especially the men's Rumble. I mean it's not like the wrestling in the women's Rumble was any good (after Sasha was eliminated), and they had to resort to having literally half the entries be nostaglia appearances as they've fired so many women lately. But at least it had enough going on to hold my attention all the way through. The men's Rumble was boring, nothing happened, and it had the absolute laziest finish possible with Brock just coming out at number 30 and winning without doing anything (though Ronda winning the women's wasn't thrilling either!)

Best match was Roman/Rollins but even that had a bad finish. Brock/Lashley was disappointing.
 
I guess the biggest thing to come out of the Rumble was Rowsey is coming back? I look in on highlights from time to time and are they setting up a feud with Lynch and Rowsey for Wrestlmania? Also, what are they doing with Becky Lynch? She was wearing this like colonial outfit for the Rumble and I started really missing the character from before her leave for pregnancy.

She’s trying to be a heel but it isn’t working.
 
Rousey is apparently wrestling Charlotte at WM. Going to be hard to get the fans to cheer either of them.

Yeh not interested in that but at least it means Becky might lose her belt to someone who has worked their ass off in WWE instead of being just put in.
