They need to do it exactly like they did the TNG Blu-ray set… just remaster everything in HD and improve the picture quality. Don’t ruin it like they it with TOS-R. But I’d absolutely buy a VOY Blu-ray set, as well as DS9.

I have both series on DVD but I’d rather have them remastered on blu ray.

DS9 was more CGI heavy that TNG was. They'd have to redo all of the wormhole effects, Odo's morphing effects, and all of the space battles in the later seasons, including any and every CGI ship shot of the Defiant, DS9, and any other ships.

VOY would be no different. They relied heavily on CGI in the later seasons. All of that would have to be redone.

^ Which is why I say they should re-scan all the film footage in HD, have the software automatically slot in the high-res celluloid, and upscale the native SD effects and elements. Would it be cool to get a painstaking, from-square-one remaster? Of course, but that's just not a plausible outcome, and the hybrid method would be good enough.
