Would you like another "Lost" series?

I don't really see any potential in a Lost spinoff or remake. Maybe if they had left a little mystery in the finale there might be some room for it, but since it turned out to be what everybody guessed (and what they promised it wouldn't be), there's really nothing left to do. Unless they can spin that ending as a fake out somehow, but the idea really doesn't intrigue me.

If you're referring to the notion that they were dead the whole time, then I suppose it would be pointless to point out that that's not what happened.

I am sure I can find the post explaining the ending (that I used to just copy and paste because I used it so often) somewhere.

I honestly never would have thought an explanation was necessary if I hadn't seen so many people misinterpret it...

I'd like to see a reboot of Lost, where it's a plane full of WWE wrestlers who crash on the island.

Tell me it wouldn't be glorious.

IIRC, the producers said they were at a loss for the flashback scenes for the final seasons and they wrote what they wrote as a shout out to the fan theories.

Anybody see the little "Coda" featurette? (On the DVD for the last season.)
Yep that is where we find out Hurley and Ben are wanting to bring Walt back to help his dad who is a ghost on the island. Also they shut down the food drops and even if it's not mentioned I asume they must have been successful in getting Desmond off the island since they got off it and there is no reason not to bring him along with them.

I would like a Lost style show with tons of mysteries. Strangers in a strange land. I always liked people on a new planet (or could it be an alternate reality or parallel universe) trying to survive against the known and unknown dangers. And let's throw in some bug eyed monsters.

I think Lost was a good show that ran its course, so no, I would not want to see a return or a reboot or another group of people doing similar things.

Now LAND OF THE LOST? That's another animal.

This.

The ongoing 'We really do have an end, it'll surprise everyone, no they're not dead, we' ll explain stuff, no the fan theories aren't right' narrative from the creators led us to believe something great was planned. We'd all looked at the threads they had and concluded there really wasn't a satisfying resolution, but continued to hope.

There wasn't.

They did explain stuff, people were just mad they didn't have some man behind the curtain stand up and say specifically "BWA HA HA HA HA I DID EVERYTHING FOR THIS REASON." Almost every action that any character takes in the show is fully explained if you were paying attention.

And the only part of the show where everybody was dead was the flash-sideways.
