Would Tasha Yar have gotten along with Ro Laren?

Oddish violently shudders, not at the thought of a same sex pairing on Star Trek, but at the thought of Shelby becoming a permanent member of the main cast.

 

I agree. Shelby was definitely something else...

 

I think Tasha would have empathized with her and tried to give her advice and Ro would have resented the advice.

 

Depends on how it was given. Ro responded well enough to Guinan's advice, because Guinan knew how to deal with her. Maybe Tasha, given her own past, would as well.

 

I think Ro would hear Tasha’s advice as “Since my experience is the same as yours why can’t you act more like me?”
