Would it would be cool if the Ocampa appeared or were mentioned in any future Star Trek shows, movies or comics?

No offense, but is there really a need to make a thread topic for every little random thought that pops into your head?

It would be nice to see any one-shot alien sentient species reappear. Including some who have only appeared in prose fiction. (It's happened: one of the regulars in PRO is, after all, a Brikar, a species introduced in a Peter David novel. I'd especially like to see a Sulamid turn up (introduced in a Diane Duane novel).

I could envisage a 9 year story arc, either on screen or in expanded universe media, following the birth of an Ocampan, rapid maturation and eventual death. Sadly, we would also see many other Ocampans expire during this story arc due to their short lifespans. We could see a whole generation lost within 9 years, though replaced with a newer and younger generation of Ocampans who are descendants of those lost within the first few seasons, giving hope for the future and giving emphasis on the circle of life; the cycles of birth and death.

To be fair, this concept was kind of touched upon during the Voyager episode Before and After, but in reverse and all muddled up.

Locking this one. I'm not a fan of threads with so little meat on their bones that the entire opening post is in the title.
